Must confess, first time random clicker, I listened to your intro then skipped straight to your Andor segment. Great convo, good vibe. I only watched each arc once it was complete based on what Tony said. Thanks showrunner. I adored it. So psyched for season 2. Four arcs of three episodes where Each arc represents a year closer to battle of Yavin. Finale leads into Rogue One leads directly into a new hope. I will wait till finale arc is out and take day off work to watch the three episodes and 2 movies .

I have to disagree. Episode 11 was a masterclass in character arcs. After getting out of prison and finding out that his adopted mother had just died, Andor completely changes as a man. The somewhat selfish man we saw in the early episodes changed into a man more concerned about the needs of others. Cassian Andor learns that he can’t just coast along in life and ignore what’s happening all around him. He finally realizes that he can’t just choose to not care. He becomes someone who is willing to die for freedom.

Even the actress can’t confirm that her character is dead (which only raises more questions) It’s a very open-ended. And honestly, what kind of death is it if fans are left with speculations because there’s no real answer? There’s no farewell scene or even a funeral or showing the wound being healed. Plus, what kind of respect is that for a character returning after 11 years who was promised big plans? She got the most anticlimactic, weak and confusing death scene, where she "dies" from a random stab by a no-name, and this whole story could have been done in a comic. You can also add the argument of Ventress, who returned after the same amount of time, even though she died. And honestly, after talking with many people, her survival would make the most sense of all characters because she is a healer, and Lyn was probably too. She would receive immediate help. Many fans even use this argument to emphasize that this death wouldn’t make sense. To summarize, I’ll say just one sentence: Imagine that Barriss actually died from the perspective of people who believe she survived and are waiting for her return. An example quote from one of the fans: "I really want to see a continuation of Barriss and Lyn's story somewhere down the line."
