Intro to my 1988 Ford Bronco XLT Project
what song is this
That's a 4.0L for you. Just pick up the head and bring the bolt with it. Common sense pays.
Levanta la culata y sale sin ningún problema.😂😊😅
That sucks
Vice grips on the flat part.
Looks like cousin pookie installed a quick drain. Realised after tightening pointing to side. Hose, cable tie, and bolt. Fixed. Cousin Pookie for the win. 👍😜🇭🇲
That valve should've need the hose 🤔
Ford v8
This one’s Chryslers 3.6 Pentastar
Pentastar 3.6?
Yup!! You got that one!
Coyote ?
3.6 Pentastar from Chrysler
Here’s a hint… It’s something I’ve seen a few times on these 3.6 Pentastars!! 👀 #cookie #dodge #repair
It’s the audi v8 with the dual timing chains right?
Definitely looks like it!! This one’s Chryslers 3.6 Pentastar they throw in Jeep and Ram trucks too.
genius if it doesnt leak
Yup!! Talked to the guy who owns the car, he actually does his own oil changes so often he just made a quick spout.. Vacuum hose and bolt is just to add on as a failsafe for leaks 😂😂
It’s not plugged in right now
Nah we cutting up the frame if that shit happens when I’m working
I had to put a hole in there because my torque wrench wouldn't fit 🤷🏼♂️ definitely not a great spot to put that bolt
Drill a hole in the cowl / firewall sill. Weld in a filler plate later after you install the head. Don't forget to cut the wiring harness either. That's also in the way. That's what electrical tape is for. 😂
Rubber hose as tall as the valve spring. Cut down middle and wrap around bolt. Pull head out. Also can use the small long nose vise grips you get at HF for a $1 same ones you hold the hoods up with when the strut out of gas.
Ahhh jeez
Not a big deal, take a rubber band wrap it around the bolt and the valve spring, holds the bolt up pull the head
Start grinding
After adding my 1.5 inch manifold spacer this now happens. However a few fire wall remolding hits from my baby sledge it fits fine lol
Lil piece of hose no biggie, chech harness behind block Lil inspection ,ok
Once the bolts are that loose, just pick the head up and wiggle it out with the bolt still in the hole. Just don't forget to put it back the same way😂
kurwa
Push the cable harness out of the way and drill a hole, so you can raise it up. Once you put the harness back, you wouldn't even see the hole. Customer would never know ... or care. Voila!
You don't simply drill holes ... I'd be angry if they didn't ask or say anything about it
This is where you tell the customer you got to add some speed holes for free 🕳 😅
Put a zip tie on the bolts threads so it don’t fall and pick the head up use your brain keep it simple
It's not out of the hole enough for the jews to be loose and tilt its way out?
Looks like a job for a drill
😂
Take the drive shaft out lift up the transmission take the motor mounts out lower the engine
Damn that's a whole shit ton of work to get a bolt out that doesn't even need to come out. Just lift the head up with the bolt in it. As long as it's not threaded it should come out of there.!!
1997 Jeep Cherokee in for a head gasket job.. Thing definitely wasn’t something I see on the daily!!
My daily driver is a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I have the 5.2
What’s been y’all’s worst repair yet?? Let’s hear them ‼️🎤 #IYKYK
Completely worthless video. Don’t waste your time.
Yeah you just gotta add more cilantro that’s all…
It won't start because that thing probably needs to be in it to start
LMFAO!!!!
Bendix spring has left the chat
I don't see anything wrong.
Look at the pinion gear moving forwards/backwards.. There’s a loose spring - that’s caused the starter gear to occasionally not properly spin the flywheel to get the truck to start
@@ColesWRLD_ok I see it now. So obvious that I didn't notice it wasn't spinning
If you love these type of car repair videos - check out the channel!! Tons of videos from classic trucks to new dealership cars!! 📸👨🏻🔧‼️
Seems like all brands have trouble with cams or lifters or both, looks to me that they are all buying junky cheap shit from overseas
Absolutely agree.. Car manufactures have the mindset of “let’s buy the cheapest part available, so we can save millions of dollars when we produce our line-up..” The manufacture end of the day does not care if it’s a throwaway part, motor and so on. Back in the day stuff was made durably, made to last and was quality. Sadly you don’t see that anymore. Even the new cars already rust with just 2-3 years.
For all yall that guessed! It’s a Jeep motor alright - 3.6 Pentastar in this one.. See them so often, I’m beginning to think it might be a maintenance interval soon 😜
Chrysler/Mopar 3.3l v6
You pretty much got it! Mopars 3.6 Pentastar!
@@ColesWRLD_ kinda thought it was a caravan saw one of those come in the shop with a completely seized rocker arm and a cam shaft that looked exactly like the video.
Ford
3.6 Pentastar from a Jeep
mopar
Yes sir that’s a Jeep alright
You call em like you see them!! 😂
That is a jeep motor
That thing got more ticks than a kid with turrets 🤣
LOL
