No! Just wash it with fresh water just after the use (even the motor) Is 3 years that I use this boat every summer at the sea No problem I have also some other rc boats and i use them all in salt water I’m planning to edit a couple of video about!

@@ilseb2t I searched and found quite a lot them but the price of 20$ and 30$ shipping for 2 rear hard compound tyres is absurd I think 3d printed injection mold for silicone for this type of tyres is around 30$ I whould rather make the mold for them and inject hard silicone

@@blackturbine how did it end up with the tires? I imagine that the mini z tires glued with the right glue were the solution

@@ilseb2t not bad but not good I bought a set of "super hard" unbranded tyres on ebay and made a hard mold for injecting silicone and before attempting to use silicone tyres i used the ones i bought and they streched less in high speed but while doing some tests and going full speed one tyre ripped off the rim and launched into oblivion, breaking the motor shaft in the process so I was back to square one I decided to machine some rims from cheap aluminium that have an internal edge to hold tire beads in place with some high tensile strength gasket maker. For now I have one motor, rim, tyre that work but as Im renovating the project is on back burner until I get my own shop up and running and new namiki motors still haven't arrived after month and a half of waiting so I think they are lost in shipping -100$
