What do you do when it's stuck in a weird vent? Like the brush didn't come off but the vent has a lot of hooks and turns so now it won't move😭 I'm in that situation now

How would you manage the drill with thats many rods if the vent was high up on the house & you were on a ladder?

What would cause this?

I've been wanting to get my dryer vent cleaned but I'm not sure if it would work . The vent goes up in the wall of the laundry room like the one in this video to the attic then goes across the rest of the house approximately 25-30 ft. It exits high up on the side of the house. My husband doesn't think it is possible to get the vent cleaned the way you do it in this video. He has vacuumed out what he could reach in the laundry room but we built the house 23 years ago and have 23 years of dryer lint built up in there. I noticed pieces of dryer lint in the flower garden directly underneath the vent opening so I really want to get it cleaned. Is there a drill attachment that long to clean it? We had a bird's nest in it the 2nd year we lived here so my husband had to clean it out then put bird cage guard over the outside vent.

Jeez...put a vent infront . This is a trap for birds ,like it is like that. Close it with gitter !

Should of unscrewed the brushes at the end, then tell your partner he lost it in the pipe LOL

Make sure you blow out the line with a leaf blower or something after you brush it i did this and thought it was clean but i compacted lint and had to take apart my dryer vent and blew out a bunch of lint

Try using an electric plug in leaf blower to help clean out the really bad clogs. Been seeing a lot of dryer vent cleaning guys switch to the plus in electric leaf blowers and omg does it work like a charm. Does not matter how bad the clog is that leaf blower will blow itright out of there.

Been seeing dryer vent cleaner guys use an electric leaf blower to help get the worse clogs out andit seems to help really well.

I’m 69 year old woman. I want to clean my own dryer & hose & vent. But the outside vent is up so high on the house. I don’t want to use a ladder. And there really isn’t a way to put a ladder up there. Who do I call to do a job like this.

Unhook your dryer and use a leaf blower from the inside. Quicker and cleaner. Cost nothing and you don’t have to stand in all the lint dust. You’re welcome 😂

This is why dryer vents should always be down plane from the dryer. The dryer doesn't have to fight gravity to push lint up and out and water ingress from storms will flow back out and not collect ontop of the lint the dryer failed to lift out.
