The M.S. stands for multiple sclerosis btw. Got so many sclerosis.
I play a metric ton of video games. Lately I've been enjoying making videos on flight simulator though. I'd love to get my private pilot license sometime in the future. Then I can make real flying videos.
If any of my videos have a good thumbnail, its because my sister made it for me lol

Steve is the real hero here
Great tutorial! Really enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is this the plane that was having a huge legal controversy with the main DCS company? Edit: you also forgot to link the cool sneak attack video.
Whoops. Totally did. I'll add that! I think it was the F-15E developer that had some gripes with eagle dynamics.
I recommend getting the WinWing Orion Skywalker pedals when you're ready for the next upgrade.
oh yeah, that is definitely on my list. the Logitech pedals are definitely the flimsiest part of my setup.
Looking fabulous
Thank you!
Nice vid man
Thanks!! appreciate it!
Nice tutorial, love it mate.
Thank you!!
The toggle switches have a little notch on the thread (on the neck of the toggle switches) . You can design that notch into the panel to help you align the toggle switches and makes it waaaaaay easier to align and install. You'd have to draw it in sketch mode and extrude since the hole function you use does not have that functionality. Hope that makes sense if you wanna try it out for future panels. Happy building and welcome to he rabbit hole that is simpt building!
Yeah I did that on my f18 panel but it completely slipped my mind on this one! I managed to do it with the hole by doing just a rectangle sketch and extruding it down through the hole. Can’t say how strong it would be but it worked lol. I’ll make sure to mention that in the next video!
2:10 300 ºC or ºF?
300 C, sorry I should've specified!
Way cool! I am building my buy list, thank you for sharing brother.
Hell yeah! send me a pic of your setup when you have it together!
that looks awesome, ive been lookin at this
Thank you so much!
Great show mate, very interesting build. Gm
Thanks so much for checking it out!
Nice!
He doubled his price for a STL digital file FYI. Super Greedy
Ah, I know he’s had issues with people buying his stls and then reselling them on other platforms. That’s probably why
@@msboi1218 still dosent stop people reselling his stls. Just hurts the honest people who buy from him.

You shouldn’t have to justify your hobbies. If you like it then who cares what others think. I think it’s pretty rad.
Thank you!
@msboi1218 I see you are using the logitech rudder pedals with your sim. Does that work ok, and is that plug and play? Im just getting started in dcs and need input where i can find it.
Yes indeed! The Logitech pedals work ok, I had to use some different bolts to mount it to the sim seat though. Everything is plug and play for the most part. The F18 specific panels from winning Automatically map most of the functions but you can always change them if need be. The only thing thats a little more difficult is getting the screens with the Top Gun MIPs to play with DCS. You just basically use them as external monitors and the software configures the rest. you have options for which plane you're flying too. They're pretty dim out of the box but you can boost the brightness doing some tricks with Reshade. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!
Waste of time unless you are a real pilot looking to keep currency...
Well I'm certainly not an F-18 pilot, but I am working on getting my private pilot license!
Just like you taking the time to post your comment or your parents taking the time to try to raise you to be a good person, complete waste of time.

@@AviationDev I’m literally working on that lol my neighbor/pilot friend is an instructor. I’ve been learning in an rv-14a
I have one word of advice for you. Prioritize cable management !
That’s happening soon! Probably….maybe…idk we’ll see lol
Thanks..nice panel…maybe start cleaning up a bit the room around the cockpit for the next video :)
Hahaha yeah that’s on my massive list of things to do. My problem is I keep rearranging lol
Wow dude. Don't hate.
Oh trust me, I do need to clean that room. cable management is a part of that though and the bane of my existence.
@msboi1218 Yeah, but people talk and usually have worse than what you have.

@@stewmanji any time! Shooting the next one today I believe, I’m making the engine panel for an f-15E
I live in Surrey BC Canada and it was raining all day so i couldn't see it and if it was sunny i would have only seen about 5 to 15% coverage guess ill have to wait another 9 years 😢
It was so cool, hopefully you get to experience it one day! Awesome you’re in surrey, I have friends in Langley.

Super Video
thank you!
Where did you get the STLs for fillers until you get the electronics?
the guy over at hornet sim shop hooked me up with them!
If you don’t mind, could you tell me what the largest width is required for the print files? I have a Bambu labs x1C, but the bed is only 250x250.
Yeah you need a LOT of bed space. I used an ender 3 s1 plus, I think it’s 300x300x300. It just barely fits the left and right dash visors
I’ve also got an X1C, real shame it won’t fit. Also, HornetSimShop’s prices have gone up a lot since this video went out 😢
yeah they have, but I know a lot of it was because people were buying his STL files and then reselling them on different sites. Which is a bummer because he puts a LOT of time and effort into his design process.
@@msboi1218 that’s fair enough.
so close to 1000!
Fingers crossed I get there!
Hi bud - how do you have them mounted? Thanks
I use the monstertech mount, I think they call it the topgun too.
I’ve got this to Mach 3.60 before
hell yeah! I definitely need to practice that climb profile.
@@msboi1218it’s very hard to maintain tho, at least without autopilot since I still don’t know how to use the pitch autopilot (the slider thingy)😅, I also just went up till I got to like 70k, all I did was a few short dives if I lost too much speed Edit: I just figured it out, it holds your pitch, useful but it’s wobbly, super wobbly…..
@@normalpersononyoutube94 hahaha makes sense. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it one day.
It’s not a game it’s a simulator 😅. Just kidding, the thing to say when a person calls it game. They call the start carts Buicks be use they used 2 455 c.i. Engines in them .
haha right?! Although with how badly I flew that thing it was more of a game
Which VR headset do you use?
Meta quest 3! I love it.
It didn't "fly over" the USSR - it's design allowed to to fly high and fast close to the borders, so within friendly countries, and look into the Soviet Union. Obvs the U2 that was shot down led to this approach. Re fuel - yes it had to refuel - fuel was also used as cooling for the aircraft too. Re going fast, the cones at the front of the engines managed the airflow as air got thinner and faster allowing them to still operate.
Good to know! Thanks
Yes! The afterburners light with a green glow. The flash point of JP8 was too low to adequately light the afterburners with the exhaust temperature alone/a normal igniter. The green flash is tri-ethyl-borine (TEB) which has a low flash point but high burn temperature, high enough to light the burners!
Gotcha! Thanks!
This is the exact same starting compound they use to start some literal rocket engines including the Merlin engines on the Falcon 9
I didn't know that either, Makes sense though! Thank you!
just a little help, if you want more to watch your videos, Try not to move around so much. It really makes people sick trying to watch that. Not everyone but alot.
yeah I need to figure out some way to stabilize the video. Thanks for the tip!
i heard one of the reasons they had to refuel it in-flight after takeoff was due to all the leakage. crazy
They refueled beacuse a full tank would brake the tyres at takeoff roll. The leakage was not so huge that it needed to refuel after takeoff. It was more dripping and it was counted by the engineers before flights. If it was not in tolerance the mechanics need to seal it again and that was a nightmare for them. A full tank was a hard condition for go MACH 3+. Without a full tank it was limited to MACH 2.6 (Nitrogen system was the reason).
can i have the link to it
Sorry for the delay! www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3308095/
Viggen bois go lower.
Sure do!
Why is it raining in the hangar?
Eagle dynamics just loves their rain effects I guess lol

PLEASE READ! I was planning on getting the WinWing TOP GUN MIPS set, but I am concerned about whether it will work with the F-16 and/or other aircraft in DCS World. Any info would be extremely helpful & appreciated I'm getting ready to get a gaming chair cockpit. I'm talking like the kind with the leather recliner, massage chair that reclines to 170 degrees, the monitor arm is independently controlled so it can be raised, lowered, forward & backward. I'm putting a 49" Ultrawide Curved monitor too. I also pre-ordered a Meta Quest 3 (I sold my Quest 2 & Quest Pro which more than covered the cost of it). Should I get WinWing HOTAS, Vipril or the new Thrust Master?
I think price to performance wise, you would be better off going with the winwing hotas. My buddy has the 16 Stick/throttle combo and he loves it. The Top gun mips WILL work with the F16. in Winwing's software, you can choose which plane you are flying so the mfds display correctly.
If you want, I can send you a screenshot later today of what the software looks like with the F-16 selected for the mips!
Do you use TrackIR or do you use button-bound looking around?
I do have a trackIR 5 and a Tobii eye tracker for when I don't do VR with the index. I just couldn't find either of them for a while so I had been using the trim hat on the stick to look around lol
This is nuts lol. Next step is to build an actual aircraft around your monitor.
hell yea, brother
Super cockpit 🌟 Congratulations
Thanks!
Just the SU-57 today and seen this video, i just wanna know if you had the same problem with the brakes. I wasn't able to get it onto the axis and could only use the button brake, which is a bit of a let down
yeah the brakes were tricky. I think the toe brakes on my Logitech pedals worked but not that well. I also couldn't do two separate throttle handles, which was weird.
@@msboi1218 alright thanks, just wondering if it was just me😅
haha no problem. yea there is definitely some jank, but I think cubanace is still actively working on the mod so hopefully it gets better!
I will stand by what you say about Hornet SimShop, I have the early dash kit to fit my cougar mfd... I used a 0.4 nozzle with carbonfibre pla... I won't use anyone else, top guy🤙 Loving the Razer too, they're so handy
Top notch designs, am I right?
you gotta get a vr thingy to make this even cooler
