The code is wrong.I have an error and its anoying please any help?
I could never make this. Can I please have this one? Please, please
Will this work with so called Cheap Yellow Display?
This is so incredibly cool! I'm not that technically knowledgable but this could be a great project to learn more. Thank you so much for making this.
Where we can have the source code?
Try to press a button without looking
odds of response are low, but whenever i try to upload the code, it boot loops I have an ESP32-S3 I followed the instructions step by step.
bravo!
love
Nice design! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for your comment 🙌
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Could we get this to connect to a network via ethernet and be controlled over a client computer via web interface or flask app or something??
Okay I got this to work. Now I want to do synchronized A & B movements
Just subbed. Looking forward to checking it out.
Amazing Work! Thank you! A couple of questions: (1). At time mark 2:27 you say that we can find the assemble manual in the description, but I cannot find it. Can you please share it (2). Can you share the link to the plates that you use to mount the motors. The link in the description is for some other plate, that does not fit here. (3). Starting from 1:51 time mark, you show how to attach L-plates to the motor, but your tilt and pan assembly does not show them. Why do we need them? Thank you
Thanks for your comment! 1) the assemble manual is inside the files in my buymeacoffee page. 2) The plates I am using are custom made, but are the same size as the ones in the links, but you need 2 to make 1 of my custom plates. 3) The L plates was used only to demonstrate how to mount the 2 flat plates in the motor and how to avoid the error of misalignment when you assemble all the pieces together.
Wow - really impressive project!
Neither of the files available at the link match this video.
It looks like the version of this board and screen are sold out… can you suggest a newer or larger version that works the same?
Very cool! Do you use autofocus? or are you planning to add a focus puller functionality to the slider?
Looks as though the S2 board has been replaced with an S3 board. Do you know if your code still works?
Sure it works you just need to select the "esp32s3 dev module" in the arduino menu. The link for the esp32s3 board is in the description of the video tutorial
A very great project. I bought the hardware and have already made the first adjustments. Icons 80x80 So I have 24 icons. Now my two questions. 1. How can I change the background color from black to another? 2. Can I also simulate the long press of a key (e.g. press the V key for 3 seconds) Oh yes, other image templates would also be available, e.g. png work?
Thanks for your comment, sure the background color change and delay function will be added in the new version, the video will be released this week. 😀
is it possible to run this on a smaller screen?
Would that work with the s3 version that has Bluetooth?
I'm not able to find USBHIDKeyboard.h. Where did you get it?
Amazing project would love to see this incorporated into a cyber deck or a bluetooth version
Amaing stuff! How did you learn to make things like this?
Thanks for your comment! Looking at different solutions in the open source world and adapting them
Haha, looks neat :)
🤘 "Promo sm"
Great idea! I dismantled two springs from a ballpoint pen.
Yeah I did the but I didn't have enough pens for all my old lenses 😅
Installed today, works well, looking forward to V2, also I made a case for both versions over at thingiverse thing:5626040 if of any interest...
Can you demonstrate how you built the firmware to control the system. I am not a programmer but i have a bit of knowledge on how to modify firmware for 3d printers. But i do not know how to set up repeatable moves with the motors.
Nice work 👍
Anyone able to get these to snap apart I have been unable to change anything to get these to not be stuck together
This is awesome, I’ve been wanting to do this myself!
Thx so much for bringing us this! 🥳
WOW ITS PCBWAY
Thank you for sharing your project! I purchased the ESP32S3 version and finished assembly this week, it's working perfectly! I'm looking forward to the upgrades (bluetooth version and new commands). Keep up the great work!
Would it be possible to use a Sunton ESP32-S3 7" 800*480 TN for more buttons as if it was a stream deck xl?
sorry I missed your comment, sure the code can be modified to work on a bigger screen, DM on instagram
Soon?
It took a while but it's on my channel now
I just downloaded the rar-file and my computer, a Mac, says it is corrupt!
thanks for your comment, I just tried to download the file and it opens right. Please try to download it again, maybe something went wrong while it was downloading, or try to use another app to uncompress on MacOS.
@@DSLRDIYCNC Thanks, used another app and it opened like it should.
Hi Pedro nice rig :) What country are you in? Thank you.
works, keep up the good work man
thanks for your comment 😀
The ESP32-S2 board is sold out. Is this the only ESP board that will work or are their others that are equally capable and compatible with the code?
For example, could I swap in the ESP32-S3 or the ESP32-C3(RISC-V) SPI?
@@FairfieldPhoto Thanks for letting me know that is out of stock. The easy modifications in the code would be for the ESP32-S3 with Capacitive touchscreen. I will update the code to be compatible with this board.
The code is updated, now there is a S3 version
@@DSLRDIYCNC Thanks for the quick update! I also noticed that the -S3 board supports Bluetooth. If I just supply power via the USB-C, does the software image allow connection to emulate a keyboard via BT?
@@FairfieldPhoto Sorry I missed your comment, I will try to update the code also for bluetooth support. Thanks for the suggestion
nice content👍
this is still a lot of work. i wish you had shared the BIN file for us to flash. so we dont even need the Arduino IDE. anyway, can we do this with an old phone or tablet?
Sorry for the bin file, but it is more intimidating to program using command lines for people not used to programming. You can do the same looking for tutorials of "Touch portal", but it has its limitations.
Seems pretty handy, but if the bitmaps are 24 bits in depth, why are they 2 bits in color when used?
the 24bits is more a limitation of the code I used that only read 24bits, I will try to add support for other bits bmp files and also a web interface to modify the files and icons easier.
a great project, I've been looking for something like this for a long time, don't you think to make PC software so that you don't have to register txt files yourself, assign bmp and not upload files to sd?
that's a great idea. I was thinking about it for a second version of the InfiniteDeck, but over a web interface if it is possible. Going to an IP address and change the txt and icons.
@@DSLRDIYCNC that's fine, will be looking forward to v2
The USB C port emulates a keyboard - can it also do mouse/consumer controls (volume etc)?
Now only support keyboard emulation, but it is a great idea to work for a version 2.0 of this device. 😀
That's really clever, definitely trying this one, thank you
It looks really good. Sadly, I printed the 49mm version several times but I cannot make the moving parts separated along the Y axis. I calibrated the printed (bed, and steppers) and still not working. Any ideas about what I've been doing wrong? Thanks!
very nice trick with the paper clip :) Love it.
So I tested out the 58mm cap print first. was unable to fit the whole clip into the back.
I also want to say that the grip part of the lens cap being sloped makes it a bit tricky to grip. I'd suggest making it flat.
