It is definitly one of the fastest and convienient online campsite directory, however again it falls short in that it does not list ALL the campsites available at a location, and in some cases not even some of the MAJOR well known campsites at the location.

Been in langebaan for 20 years.... enjoyed the compilation.... I always feel that these sites should be privatised... the local councils just dont "get" aesthetics.... locations are great but the barb wire fences and palisade just looks terrible....

No Thank you, I go camping to get away from other people. The more remote the better, no power and water are prerequisite for me.

Most of these camping sites are being manage by the municipalities and not privately own and developed so most are under developed so mabe if a tourist look for better accommodations then they must try out the Bed and Breakfast places or some hotels.

Wow! What an ugly bunch of bleak, sterile-looking campsites, absolutely horrible 'architecture', prison-like fencing... who in their right mind would even think about going to any of them, apart from Tietiesbaai.

M IDWEST in St Helena Bay is unbeatable.... Right on the beach !!

We have just been there not impressed only one hot shower in the men’s and woman’s . Water taps far and few between . Been to much better camp sites than this . Pool sandy

My all time favourite campsite. You do not need to be close to the main camp with all it's movement and sounds... There are spots between the boulders, with clean chemical toilets, and water points scattered. If you need the loo to poo, well... Start up and drive to the ablutions, but if you walk, you may forget what you were going to do... Good self catering at The Sea Shack inside the reserve as well, but book well ahead of time. Best restaurant in Paternoster is De Seekat, fabulous food, from fresh crayfish and sushi to steak and vegetarian dishes...

Definitely one of my most favourite camp sites. As safety is imperative to me, this camp site is tops for safety.
