I can definitely relate to what you said about fishing only pressured public ponds and I never had any access to private ponds. It’s not surprising to me how many RUclips anglers struggle to catch bass pond hopping 2-5 private ponds in a day excepting to catch a bunch of fish. It’s crazy how I can catch fish all year long with 5 primary techniques with very minimal tackle on the same public ponds and a lot of anglers talk about using all kinds of different techniques each month in a year to catch fish but it is what it is. Just learn everything that’s in and around bass fishing and the patterns will repeat itself every year for a better success for the next. Respect what you’re doing for the sport. keep it up. 👍

I found it not to long after you started but I quickly went back and listened to all of them and never miss the new ones. Three years ago I heard Tackle Talk for the first time while looking for a good fishing podcast. Good is a vast understatement. Without a doubt my favorite fishing podcast, and one of the best examples of what hard work and taking pride in your work can accomplish. Keep killin’ it man 👊

With respect, healthy work/life balance is important. You will literally ruin your health working a schedule like that and it shouldn't be promoted. Grind culture is cancerous. Missing sleep constantly will kill you.

I've been obsessed with using craws lately and this was an absolute gem for me I've replayed it a few times on Spotify as well as here coming back to comment with falltember finally here I was curious about your thoughts on how effective they are in the fall still. I'm also tying into the idea from your latest episode about downsizing baits and I'm wondering if a micro craw lure like a teenywee prob the 2 to 3 foot diver size ( 3/8 Oz I believe) would be just as effective as say a strike king red eye shad or a mini max
