2CV AZ (1963) engine is running again after 15 years

A Dyno session to adjust the mixture of the carburettor. In the end the engine turned out to deliver 36,8 hp. Not bad for a AM2 engine!

A video that was made by a friend of mine for television. Its about an Ami 8 with a broken gearbox; it can only go backwards. It was fun to be part of the production. I play the mechanic who failed in repairing the car and you can spot my Ami when I meet the "reverse" Ami 8. No cars were harmed during the making of the video.

This is the next step in the project of renovating front area and the engine of my Citroën GS with it's 1015cc air cooled boxer engine.

Some video's about my Citroën Gspécial from 1974 are coming up! In this first one, i start the operation of stopping the infamous oil leaks on this engine. It's a 1015cc air cooled boxer engine. I'm dismantling the engine of my Citroën GS to a certain extend this coming months. Stay tuned for more oily videos!

Poking the first holes in my Ami 8 rear rusted inner wings

Some more footage of me walking around, proud as can be on my rattle can paint job of the front panel. You can clearly see some color difference in the front panel and the wings, but hey, thats what you get when you do it on a tiny budget yourself.

Part 1 of me showing the end result of the front end renovation of my Ami 8 berline. The engine is overhauld and fitted with a big bore kit from Burton. The gearbox is overhauled, many parts are cleaned and/or painted. I fitted a new right inner wing because it was too far gone. The main front panel was also very rusty below the bumper, so i sandblasted all the nasty spots, sanded the rest down...

Here you can see the result of the engine put back together after the revision of the heads, fitting the Big Bore Kit and the filler neck and the exhaust and inlet manifold fitted with the correct torque applied. My Ami 8 engine renovation is now finished.
