Have you ever been fishing a pond that you know has some decent sized bass? Well, this prototype was tied up for those ponds that gets visited by a recently released pet gold fish (maybe it could also pass for a bright baby carp??). Join along for a the random thoughts and how I developed this fly. I'll fish in later this year, develop it a little more, and go from there. Hope you enjoy!

This pattern has had a lot of success catching feisty redfish! It will also catch a bunch of other brackish and salt water based fish. Definitely very related to the Bear Worm - this pattern incorporates the same principle of using some of often wasted materials and turning them into a fish catching fly.
