I really appreciate you taking the time to break this down and explain each component thoroughly. Currently going through Card College vol. 1 and am kind of stunned how little explanation there is of this move so early on. Then I’ve looked on RUclips and the tutorials are equally underexplained. It seems a lot of it comes down to knack and feel but this one was really tough for me just to know if I was doing it right. Much appreciated!

The only way for me to pivot is to moisten my index finger

only problem is i need the middle finger to hold the cards in place not possible for me to do it without the iddle finger cards just fall. middle finger is wedged

so i have a problem when i try to do this move. i can do the opener just fine up till the part where i have to spin the packet cliped by the index and middle. when i rotate it around the thumb, my hads seperate.

Trying to learn this movie but man.. I can’t get that first rotation down. No matter how many times I watch it the rotation doesn’t make sense to me. Even as I’m watching and mimicking the movements it’s just not landing the way it should. 🤔
