Little tip: if you are recommending an album, add a short sample of the songs just to make the viewer understand better
All of these bands are incredible. I grew up with LB, so I like them in general. In truth, it takes so much more than memorization or practice to write something. From Kendrick Lamar to Van Halen, all these guys are impressive
The intro to boiler puts me in a trance😮💨
It is a butt rock way. You go from songs like Possession, and Section 8, to sounding like Slipknot and Bring me the Horizon. Its embarrassing. I understand evolving, but youre literally leaving your core fanbase in the dust, to never want to listen to your new music at all. Literally the Face of Deathcore, to sounding like a dad metal band.
Ov sulfur
Poser as shit dawg
Hate it, just had a mini break down because someone called it unique, ewww
I agree. I love Phil's cleans.
They used to be my fav and childhood songs as a kid😭🙏
He got influenced by the guitar icon Abby Jane
I love this guitarist so much ♥️♥️♥️
Absolutely! Very Linkin park. It even transcends into heavier genres. Like "the hills have eyes" by the acacia strain where I think they're in drop f# for the 2009 demo version and drop f for the album version. Actually I guess it's more of a straight sus 2 chord but they both are very modal
So I've always been irritated by this style of singing. I never knew what it was called until recently, but even after that, I was like "what makes singing cursive?" Like I could point it out from a mile away, but I couldn't place my finger on what exactly they were doing with their voice that annoyed me. I knew it had something to do with the way they pronounced vowels unnaturally. It makes sense that it's the emphasis and lack of enunciation. All my favorite singers like Whitney Houston and a lot of Broadway singers enunciate super clearly and I love how that sounds, so it makes sense why I hate the opposite. I can tolerate this in pop, as it's just catchy, it doesn't really have to sound good. But I will absolutely stop listening to a slow or dramatic song with cursive singing. Thanks for the explanation. The irritation in your voice when you talk about it reflects how I feel 😆
I hate cursive singing with a passion. Its like people are trying to sing while sounding like a 3 year old while crying after throwing a temper tantrum. Its annoying as hell not to mention its impossible to understand. Please stop and sing normally! 🛑
I can’t stand it. 🤮
Bro, here me out tate mcrae is the best cursive singer ive ever heard
You’re tripping. Guitar community LOVES Wes
say that to blackpink rose hahaha let see
He’s one of the greatest ever fuck what you heard
Wes was terribly underrated
I have one of these! Honestly the best baritone guitar that I've ever played and one of the best SE that they've produced. It'd be cool to see a run of his 7 string baritone that never went into production.
They revived Garage rock, I have no idea who told you they reinvented alternative music cause I’ve never heard someone say that about the strokes EVER
All member of BLAKPINK do this technique too
theyre good...why is that hard to say?hahahah
Originally cursive singing was hasley thing and then she blew up a long time ago now people wanna act like they naturally sing cursive
For a nu metal vocalist, Fred is pretty good I think.
LOL
People tell me that I do that but it's just that I'm French, I'm fed up, I do my best 😅
sounds really good my friend!! Love your bass sound!
Agreed. I've said that Limp Bizkit would be an awesome instrumental band and that's not a knock on Fred Durst.
Because I have a speech Impediment. And have difficulties pronouncing
Who's the black cap?
He's got some incredible riffs for sure. The main riff of Sour is nuts. Love when he utilizes tapping like that.
People only hate on Limp Bizkit because they ain’t Limp Bizkit. Look at their concerts man. They’re one of the greats.
What a poser
Agreed 👍
So odd.
Wes is a 🎸 God. Fred is a talented and charismatic badass front man. DJ Lethal is a living legend. The entire band are living rock legends from my 20s and we had some of the BEST badass bands in the 90s. Limp is a badass band that has never gotten the respect they deserve. Wes leaving broke the band because he's part of the magic that makes them amazing. These boys are what they are. Living legends that you kids should feel lucky that you get the privilege to 👀. Watching little kids critique Wes and Fred is comical. I'm SURE that the ♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️ find it comical as well. If you weren't even born in the same century that the music was released in maybe you're not actually big enough to be critiquing 50 plus year old rock stars. This is one of my favorite bands and Chocolate Starfish is a masterpiece. I'm going turn you over my knee if you keep talking 💩 on them.
HELL YEAH🔥🔥🔥
You late bro 😂 glad your here with us now in 2023 🎉
Halsey and SZA are the worst offenders of this lol
This didn't make sense at all. Doesn't really need to though lol
Dude Wes is a monster and I hate Nu Metal. Good is good 👍🏻
You're not wrong...
Limp Bizkit is awesome but they need to make more music😢
Accurate
Ooh, sowwy but youw voice is not that deep
it's a great style of singing. but too much can be dangerous. you just haven't seen someone who navigates cursive singing amazingly
This is a kid
He's good but idk about "influential"
