Saw these guys at Cambridge Rock Festival, great energy great music ,is the tide turning ? there is hope .....
This song was written by Leon (my dad) in the band Jah Head. This band became Stranger Culture and he allowed SC to carry on playing it after he left the band
Most definitely not a SC original. I helped create SC after Jah Head split up and this song was carried over. It is and always will be an original Ambush song
Not an original by SC. This is an Ambush song.
Ambush did a totally different track called Babylon mix....a totally different song, feel & genre. This is a Stranger Culture original x
@@MartynMacMovies Why you telling porkies? It's an Ambush song, lyrics by Bingy. Hero is also Ambush. Lyrics by Leon. ruclips.net/video/KhQv2OZprpY/видео.html

Hi @DubArcheologist & @AroustabouT ..... I stand corrected! Thanks for the info & update. Mac xx
@@martynmccarthy3212 et al.... Yeah, what he said! One Love! xx <3 xx
Thank you so much for filming this Martyn! 😊....Just a little point to clarify, though, the song has been written for a while and recorded, so it wasn't actually written in the hotel the previous night..we're brave, but we're not that brave 😂..it was the very first public performance of the song though, and only the second time apart from soundcheck that Malcolm and I had played it together. We did track some vocals that day in Malcolm's hotel room for a new forthcoming song from our new album to make use of the time we had available to us.
Ah....sorry for the mix up. Still a great track though xx😊xx
Very enjoyable.
Looks like the local charity shop did a roaring trade pre show.
Not bad. But, I have heard better cover bands for Steely Dan tunes.
I don't know about your music, the recording sucks. Is this the best you can do?
Very nice!
Nice 🙂
Nice arrangement but it is lost in the muddy sound… please record it in a studio and post it!!!
Stray cat strut .
Always the same shit ...play b4 an audience who don't give a fuck!! The worst one are the friends....while the get piss they get louder....!!!!Grrrhhh
Ricky??
Mmmm okish....
does the soundguy hate the bass player? i cant hear any bass or any of his singing
Nice
Congrats one more time - SD's biggest hit is a must and you did it great!
Great work guys - all round - obviously a big shout goes out to the vocals but it's the collective that works - I'm a lifelong musician and a SD fan for over 40 years so in my eyes that's a major compliment. Well done - keep that flame going!
Very good sound !! (Unfortunate that the tempo, clearly and RIGHTLY established by the keyboardist, dragged significantly within seconds. Easy to figure whom it came from)
Yup, way too slow. Other than that good job. Drummer needs to drive that train!
Nice addition from the girls
Should be Steamy Dan!
10 people in your band!!! How do you make money???
We seldom do... more a labour of love than a money making venture.
Yep the song sounds easy to play, but to play it like Steely Dan is a bit hard, But you guys did a passable version. & would have got applause from the crowd
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Keyboard player is gettin some action from behind the curtain 🤣
This sounds rather off-key to me, have they gone tone-deaf?
Right!?
Pick up the tempo already
I'd like 50 times if I could. Very nice
That was a great job! Well done folks! We want more!
Nice job! Coverin' the Dan is not an easy task.
Great job....
cool
Great 👍👍
Lovely!
Thanks you, cliff erosions you rock.
jeez bernie, wheres all our hair gone? how come macs still got his..... lol
regorsmith, haha!! Who'd have thought? All that bathing in baby bio must have paid off! Xx :-) xX
I felt in love with one of song he played when in old town square. I forgot to ask his name. He played beautifully and made my vacation perfect.
What's his name??
I don't know alas Diego...if I see him again when we return to Prague I'll be sure to ask him xx :-) xx
