I like y’all a lot cause I’m from Bama and hunt in north Alabama, but 3 1/2 is not old or mature he needs to be 4 1/2 before you should call him a mature shooter cause he still had plenty of room to grow especially with a broken browtine.

the one walk over the ridge and looked down on you... he knew a hen should have been there that's why he walked off.... you set up to where you have a shot and are in range when they appear

dont walk towards a gobbler calling he will be looking in that direstion... and when he gobbles and you keep calling and getting closer... the gobbler thinks that the hen is coming to him... because that's how it works in mother nature... best thing I can tell you is to get with somebody who's really knows how to turkey hunt andc they can teach you good woodsmanship .. that's the main thing I noticed.... good hunting boys keep after them ou'll get the hang of it
