Mine works but only when plugged into my computer (you could see my struggle early in the video trying to turn on) I won’t invest in batteries obviously, this was a nostalgia trip for me and part of my collection but yeah if you’re serious about getting one, ask about battery life.

If the battery isn't holding a charge, be careful! It can start swelling and push against the screen, making a black mark. It's a fire risk and there isn't an easy way to change the battery. They can swell even if it's been sitting unused, but charging one speeds it up. I had the same nano like 12 years ago and after charging it recently, the battery got so big it broke the screen! I got a 5th gen video (the big classic style) with a dead battery recently, and it's really easy to replace parts and use. I recommend one of those classic ipods!

@@p5rsona I mean you didn’t miss out on much, as you saw I didn’t realize whether I was taking a photo or recording short video! Kinda cool but felt like back then they was just adding anything else to sell you the previous year’s iPod 😆 to force an upgrade. (I’m looking at you iPhone).. I remember they had this in-app game for trivia where I would spend hours quizzing myself on things I already knew!! Bc I was in charge of the meta data 😆 talk about wasting time at age 16

Yeah nostalgia plays a big role! I would never stop using Spotify or Amazon music to only use cassettes obviously! But it makes me appreciate living in this times more. I used to collect physical ps2 and GameCube games! But again, it’s not sustainable and not cheap either! but I enjoy the illusion of “owning” a piece of my life history. Things that impacted me whether good or bad; mementos if you will. I think the closest to replacing streaming I would go back to was my iPod nano from 2007

...what video games do you have on tape? Or do you mean you recorded yourself playing video games on VHS or cassette years ago & those tapes no longer work?

@@TheOriginalCaptainTrips I have hundreds of games on cassette which I used to use on my c-64, and a bunch of floppy discs. None of them work, even on a working c-64.

Начиная с Англии, Италии, США, Канады, России до Сирии, Индии, Индонезии, Австралии, Южной Африки. Поэтому могу сравнить у кого самые лучшие реакции и у кого не очень получается. Насчёт присылать рекомандации на хорошую музыку - с радостью пришлю советы на Российскую и музыку времен СССР. Дело в том, что на западе в том числе в Штатах люди мало знакомы с русской музыкой. И даже не представляют как много итересных и прекрасных мелодий таится в русской музыке. Я сам не являюсь русским но их музыку очень люблю. Сейчас советую для реакции Kino - Blood type (Группа крови). Очень популярна.

I’m mostly into rock, alternative and metal and I LOVE delicate, I first heard it when I was at the top of the Eiffel Tower and it came up on myy Spotify shuffle (bc I was listening to Ariana), I loved delicate ever since. I respect Taylor a lot even if I rarely know her catalogue, I’ll check out those songs thanks.

@@eriksori My fave prior to Taylor was Metallica. I (and 90% of her fans) would love to see her do a rock album. She has some quasi-rock songs, but not a lot. For alternative, her last 4 albums are the best. (Folklore, Evermore, Midnights, and Tortured Poets - aka TTPD). Her primary collaborators in these 4 albums are both alt/indy performers/producers. I'm still curious to see your reactions to the songs I suggested but, if you end up doing more of a deep dive, I will probably focus my suggestions mostly on the last 4 albums. Given what you've said, I think there is a high probability that you will end up loving a lot of her songs.

Thank you for the insight. I was raised and warned to stay away from Marilyn Manson, but for some reason some of his lyrics that don’t mock god seem very deep and provoke thought and that’s what draws me to him. I belive there must be a reason why he chose to rebel, maybe deep inside he wants God but doesn’t know how to approach him?
