1986 Dreadnok Swampfire and Monkeywrench (Silent Review)
I was going to narrate it but thought there is no better way to describe this phenomenal match up of a Dreadnok at work right where I first played with them in 1986 at a spot I call Dreadnok Bay so that's all there is to say about it.

Due to electric charger issues the CNG's are back out with a favorite tune in the background famously played in the movie Backdraft.

Due to issues with the electric buses and chargers the CNG's rolled back out. This coach is one of the first fitted with the new completely enclosed driver barrier.

I didn’t know this route was originally owned by Division 8.
I really miss the old announcement. I’m from Texas and I usually visit LA every summer from 2005 to 2017.
I thought this was in 2011
This is a brand new bus put into service in 2024...

Pros and cons of BYD Electric Bus Company Pros The buses are quiet and they are fast Cons They take too long to charge between 4-8 hours depending on its battery current SOC. The chargers often breaks to where it wont charge at all. The bus will shut off without warning. The drivers compartment is meant for operators who are 4'11 to 5'3 maybe 5'5 with no extra weight on them. The bus doors suck and always malfunction When its hot the bus sucks When its cold the bus sucks You’ll strain everybone in yo body trying to maneuver it steering has been a complaint. The bus has a tendency to cut off while on the freeway If i had to give BYD a rating.. one thumb down.. Please share your thoughts by leaving a comment
It could also be lead to paperweight syndrome.
USA is not that good in building buses like they used to, Canada does a better job
@@mtasubwaymartasubwayYeah. If United States considers the “strongest country” in the world, they should be making useful buses instead of cheap paperweight ones.

Morning and if you see them out there dont waste any time as they usually dont stay out there too long.

Very first time I seen an 40 footer New Flyer Excelsior bus on the Orange Line Route 901 (Very Rare). Also hopefully I see a video of a El Dorado bus on the Orange Line Route 901 soon.
The New Flyers and Eldorados are out there every day now so if you go out there you will see them. I will try to get more videos and photos when I have time to go there.

@@rtd1409 Glad to hear it, I wish NYC transit would've bought some nabi buses like that, nabi is gone, out of business.
@@mtasubwaymartasubway Yeah for me of the current fleeet the remaining NABI's are the most interesting. We have 32 ft in Contract service and 45C's and 60BRT's still.
Must be an easy route to drive.

Is cool to hear a train horn but I don't know it doesn't work on a bus to good
Who is blowing the horn? It ruined the sound of the bus in the tunnel. You can’t hear it go into over drive
That would be Phil playing the horn. On the other vid of the 3rd Street tunnel it was done without the horn and you can hear the bus go into overdrive.

Plus it never went into Overdrive,,it got close but the bus hits OD at about 43mph. The object of this video was to get the horn echo in the tunnel.
