An early Sunday morning ride in Cornwall. You'll have to excuse the wind noise. It was a hot day and the screen was staying down.

A wet and foggy walk in Cornwall and a bite to eat for lunch.
Great video, rode very similar ride just a couple weeks ago Newton Abbot, Shaldon, Torquay, Paignton , Totnes, Dartmouth , footage on my channel. Just waiting to re-take my mod 2 and then pick up my new Honda CB650R.
@DevonGuyA38 Good luck with test.
But it never shines when you’re out and about 😆🌧️ Have you ridden the 350?
No, but friend was almost tempted to buy one there. Maybe he will and I'll get to ride it. Would love a go on one, so will keep an eye out for a demo locally.
@@needsmokes2410 your friend will 100% end up with one 😎
The terrible suspension on anything other than smooth tarmac is what always bothered me with these 125 bikes. The best ones you can get are maybe the geared ones with bigger wheels because they have longer suspension travel and longer forks, but even with them they feel weird on uneven surfaces in their own way!
Plymouth? 😀
isnt it 160 cc?
No, only 125cc in the UK
Where is this?
It was taken in Plymouth, Devon, UK 🇬🇧
Wow sun was out too 😎😇
Hello Need Smokes, may I have your permission to use this video in my compilation? Any updates? I will credit you on-screen and provide a link back. Thanks
Yes, I don't mind.
Wow proper bum clenching moment. 💩
I rode the exact road in the summer of 2022 on a Brompton, I like Smeaton's Tower and had a cup of coffee at The Coffee Shack, also had a good time at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, your video brings me back there.
I often find myself enjoying a cuppa at the shack on the hoe.
Beautiful Tour Buddy i drive a Honda Forza 125cc 2023
Quality bike the forza. I ride the X-ADV 750, which shares lots with the Forza 750
I also have this honda and I will claim a few things. Suspension is trash and hard. Brakes, especially front one, even though new ebc pads installed feels like a sponge, fuel consumption is not as advertised, in a city it's somewhere around 3L/100km with me 105kg man. With 50km/h the scoot puts plenty of resistance when you counter steer it. You need a tall windshield coz default one does crap! Mirrors are lacking no matter how you set them. You have no rear ABS nor alarm and chinese companies are giving it all for cheaper! SH125 which i had previously is way better option, more comfortable one! 2k km, engine starts to make weird squeaky noises, especially when cold!
Doesn't sound like you've had the best experience of a pcx. Not every bike suits every person. Can only go off the experience from this one.
Do you love your wife too ? 😄
That little bike took Plymouth in it's stride mate, it's perfect habitat. I'm further west and find that hills and headwinds play a big role in effecting the top end speed on my PCX. I've added an aftermarket seat pad to mine. Anything less than super smooth roads and you really notice it.
Yup, it is in its perfect environment in a city. I'd want at least a 350cc scooter if I had to ride a lot of country A roads.
A nice tour of Cornwall 👍 It's funny that you can walk straight into Landsend if it's not open 🎉
Yeah, I was expecting it to be locked up. But just strolled in. No one said anything, I think it's because there is an hotel on site and guest come and go.
You bought it new i guess. How about period of running in? First 500 km? How did you ride it in that period?
It wasn't really ridden hard, but not too gentle either 😉
Wow 127mpg! I had no idea stop/start was available on bikes too 🤯
And that is 127mpg with a 19 year old riding it 🤯 global.honda/en/tech/Idling_Stop_System/#:~:text=The%20AC%20generator%2Dequipped%20Idling,work%20frequently%20in%20city%20driving.
70mph pretty good going! Can I ask how tall you are ?
5"11
Those lanes are great. How many miles did you cover?
Less than 100 today. Really avoided main roads and it was perfect
Did you have a sore thumb ?
Nice roads 😎🎉
It was the King Arthur breakfast, and friend had scampi and chips. Good little find that cafe on the high Street.
Great stuff. Livin' the biking dream. Lunch looked lush 😎
Livin’ the dream 😎
From Ukraine
😂
Saving up money for one of these. Honda is Honda, grew up with one :)
Don't blame you. It's worth the extra for the quality and peace of mind
Good to see the bike's hillclimbing and dual-carriageway abilities put to the test. Less good to hear your foul-mouthed rants about learner drivers, though - even you were a learner once, right?
The irony is the bike had L plates. I found it quite amusing.
Quality looks good
So what was he frustrated with ?
Spori start
These bikes are so versatile, I guess that’s why they’re so much fun 😎
get a better mic to hear a clear words keep up , do some moore test ride’s sh honda, 350 adv…..
I thought this was only in Bristol, I had no idea there are others 🤯🎅🏻
There is another one taking place from Barnstaple to South Molton on the 9th Dec.
Funny hearing the engine speed not matching up with the speed/gearbox. Reminds me of my DT50 as a 16 year old. Happy days 😎
My first bike at 16 was a F reg DT50MX.
Scooters make so much sense. No wonder they’re so popular in Europe 😎 I wonder why they’re not so popular in the UK. The engine & gearbox is super simple too meaning great reliability. 🔧
The weather my friend. In UK it´s rains a lot.
I popped out on mine this afternoon. It was -1, I was warm but my toes were chilly. 🥶
It is cold in the UK currently. Thankfully the X-ADV has brilliant weather protection other bikes don't have, which I experienced today when I went for a few rides on my sons scooters. (Video reviews incoming) Tomorrow is santas on a bike day and ill be out from 9am till 6pm. Going to be frozen by the time I get home. Just no snow this year plz!
Coffe, donuts & and an X-ADV, perfect video opening 😎 oh you managed to get the drone up too 🎉
Nice cuppa and donuts there. And just beside that is the world famous Cap'n Jaspers. Shit brew but big burgers and dogs 👌 Been a popular biker spot since time began. Drone almost got taken out by military helicopter in Looe doing a low flyby.
@@needsmokes2410 yikes! Sounds like an eventful day out 😎
Weather looks nice 😎👌🏻
What did he think of the X-ADV?
He really enjoyed it. Wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't end up buying one himself before long.
@@needsmokes2410 I reckon if most bikers tried a DCT bike they’d really enjoy it. 😎 Looking forward to seeing him join our ADV group 😎
@TheDervMan Wasn't a day for drone footage. Was very windy and couldn't keep it even remotely still. Wasn't sure it would come back and land and not crash and be lost forever. One day I'll get that thing up in the air and get some footage.
Aww. Look at those Swiss chalets. Lovely scenery innit! Thanks for the drive! (drive? Do you drive a motorcycle? ... i dunno!) Ju
Was this the same trip where you had some rain? ☔️
Yep. But this was a very warm sunny day.
Nice🫀
😄
😄
👍
👍
Amazing weather for October 😎
Been so fortunate to have 4 days off this weekend, as its been well above 20° with no wind. Had a few lovely rides👌
@@needsmokes2410 very different weather to your foreign trip 🤯
The X-ADV is easy keeping up with the sports bikes 😎
I'd be well annoyed if I was one of the cars at the roundabout being blocked by a bike 🙈
The marshalls did a good job of holding traffic at bay at all junctions to keep the ride flowing and everyone together. Most are really patient.
@@needsmokes2410 How many miles was the ride out?
@TheDervMan , Not entirely sure. I'd guess about 110ish.
Do you get many questions/comments from other bikers about the X-ADV?
Always. Normally it's either, what made you choose that, or what size is it. There aren't too many about down here, so it's often the first time someone has seen one out in the wild.
What microphone setup are you using?
I'm not using a mic. Just a £10 for 2 bits of foam (windslayer) from Amazon to fit around the GoPro. (They were a bit wet still from France)
