Electric Mini Bike Build Part 3
This is part 3 of an electric mini bike build that I've made from an old typical gas mini bike. We met up with LA & SD ESK8 in Oceanside to put the bikes to the test.
The second portion of the video Sam and I ride out to Downtown Riverside and we have a major issue at the end, but we make it work.

Electric Mini Bike Build Part 2
Просмотров 1022 года назад
Finished up the stretched mini bike. We met up with LAESK8 in Newport Beach to test out the range and overall performance of the bikes. Pretty sure it was about 16 - 20 miles and we have a bunch of juice left over for more riding time. Dingomoto.com IG: Dingomotousa IG: Dudesheriff IG: LAESK8 Mini Bike Specs: 3K Watt 72V 50AH

This is how I mounted my kayak trolling motor
Просмотров 1863 года назад
Here I fabricate a simple mount directly at the back of the kayak. I'm Using a 12V Minn Kota trolling motor with a 50 AH 12V battery. So far I've taken it out several times and it has lasted for a good 2-3 hours and could have gone longer. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. It may not be perfect, but I made it work!

Custom vinyl decal graphic application for cargo trailer conversion
Просмотров 4,2 тыс.3 года назад
Here I apply graphics to my 6x10 cargo container build. I decided on matte black for the mountains and reflective yellow for the setting sun and UFO beam. Camping in the boonies sometimes gives me an eerie feeling, so I thought it would be fun to add a little extra (terrestrial) to the design.

Ultimate Road Cooler - Massimo CX50 E Kooler Unboxing / Camping / Overlanding
I just installed the same one but mine has a built in splitter and two cords for the inside. I use 3 stainless machine screws and nuts instead of the supplied screws. I had to glue in 3 small wood block spacers to keep the screws from squeezing the outside and inside panels together. Works great.
I have an e1 error, and rear wheel is dragging, when I unhook the motor the wheel spins freely, shows controller on display was told by Isinwheel support it was a controller error. Could it be causing motor to drag when I hook the motor wires back up
I think I have the exact same issue, haven't took the wheel off yet. Did the wheel have a drag in it before you fixed it. Mine got a drag in it until I unhook the connector goin to controller.
@@MichaelHunnings I remember when I would brake the wheel would keep spinning and that is what wound up and cut the wires
Was this a diy trailer? I’m in the process of building a 5x10 from the bottom up.
So what are you screwing to the insulation?😂
You never showed a close up of you joining the wire that s a crap video
@@colinshanks2653 the comments can speak on how helpful this video has been to many people. I wouldn’t describe it as a crap video. If you didn’t know, you would solder the red wire to the red wire, yellow to the yellow and so on matching all the colors up. If you want to learn how to solder, there are other plenty of videos showing you how to do that.
Installed one of those on our Sled trailer a few days ago. Looks good and works as advertised.
@@VonSpud yes it is a great simple way to add power to any sort of vehicle or trailer.
Exactly the solution I was looking for! Thanks for posting!
@@1funcar great I’m glad this video was able to help you out in a small way. Take care.
@@makeitworkdiy3768 it was even better - I bought the one with two outlets!
hi The scooter does not move with a weight of 130 kg?? It was moving before and there was no problem
Hey motor needs only tow wires postive and negative why you need that many wires
I'm homeless looking for tent thats not needed need somewhere to sleep that would be a blessing DONT WANT TO SLEEP ON GROUND
So.
I have a E2 on my scooter
I guess I figured out what's wrong with my scooter The front wheel came off few times while I was popping a wheely Now the scooter turns on but does not move
In my case it was the tire rubbing against rear motor wire. Solar scooter
This is exactly what i was looking for. I already mounted a tongue box but now I'm thinking of mounting my generator where itv is and putt the box on top to keep from having to get the generator in and out on every trip
That has to be Mt Shasta!!!!!
Good video Sir thank you. One question though: didn't you need spacers for the screws between the metal exterior and the wooden interior to prevent the outer skin from caving in?
This was good. No fluff. No annoying music. Gave me an idea of how they physically go on a cross-bar.
I don’t do Fluff, no time for it :)
Do anybody know how to fix E5
It doesn't just come off like that! You have to bash the thing to get the case off, it's bloody difficult!
I have a mi scooter when I turn it on it won’t move my back wheel is stiff anyone can help no sound on it to
Could this power a small tv ?
Yes, just think of it as an extension cord
Dude I have the same problem with same scooter I've taking the wheel apart , but didn't see anything wrong , I'll take it apart again and check thoroughly ,to see what that E1. Code is thanks .I'm glad you were able to fix it .when I tried to reset E1 on bottom I discover that there is two power on scooter P1 P2 for faster speed . If you hold the power button it beeps then you can see the two modes .
Great Video Brother! I got a Hover 1 journey and had the same code. Removed the deck and started playing with wires. No obvious damage spotted, but when i disconnect the battery from the controller no codes, as soon as the hub rotates... E1 code. Its midnight now, so tomorrow's another day. After work i plan on opening the Hub housing and checking the wires. Funny enough when i removed the cheap plastic guards from the forks the bolt holding the hub fell off.... still no obvious damage to the wiring... So i assume its internal, gonna have tomorrow breaking it down and figuring this mess out lol. I got in the scooter for $40 from amazon after a 56% off sale and $150 gift card for credit approval. If i can manage another 5 months gas free commuting ill be a happy man. Again. Great video, Cheers!
En español no entiendo nada.
Like those bumper stickers say , " sh.t happens '"
How is this 2 years later without siliconing the outside, leak proof?
7:11 how about putting the big bracket under the rubber carrier to get a snugger grip on the crossbar and to avoid scratching the top of the crossbar.
What size Rachet did you use for this?
Hey is there any posible way that I can contact u
This has the prongs for an extension cord female side to plug into. So now the other side of the extension cord is male. How do I plug a fan into that? I can't.
power bar!
Probably shouldnt turn it on after tipping it ilon its side. Compressor type coolers cant handle thay too well
Dose anyone knows where the white wire connects?
How far apart should the racks be?
Help bluewheel Ix 300 code eros E 20
Wired my schoolie this way. One runs the front half and another runs the back half. 3 years and zero issue
Would this work to plug in a refrigerator in and air fryer? For a food trailer? Hooked up to a generator?
Absolutely!! Best way!!
Thank you!! All I had to do was tighten a bolt.
lucky dude!
Thank you
no problem dude.
This was helpful. Thank you.
I'm glad you liked it. thanks for stopping by.
Terrible video doesn't show the end product.
Come over ill show you
How is it holding up? any leaks?
All good, I did put silicone on the screws on top.
❤
Now the scooter is working but E1 code didn't disappear is it normal?
No
Thank you so much.❤
You're welcome 😊
So much help thanks
Happy to help
Nice!
Nice vid. But only one negative to say don’t you ever put a ryobi bit holder on a Milwaukee drill sir. That’s a no no lol
That is hilarious! Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering why my Milwaukee drill was screaming noooooooo!
gj dad
I am about to do similar but I will use silicone as an extra precaution. I will drill the exterior 2" hole. Then drill a small pilot hole into the wood via the 2" hole about 1/4 of the way up from the 2" hole's bottom. In the area where the cable will be located. Then using that pilot hole from the inside I will drill a hole just big enough for the plug to go through the hole into the trailer. Not a 2" hole. Then I will put something around the cable at the small hole to hold the cable from bouncing around when the trailer is being towed. Maybe there is something to finish the interior hole that I am not aware of yet. Then there would be no hole in the wood for something to bounce into and fall down inside the wall. And the cable is secure. And others would see I did a professional job.
You could use a cable wire clip to hold the wire when it comes in the trailer and a larger grommet to finish on the inside. Might find a PVC fitting you could use also.
I was thinking exactly the same thing instead of having a large hole inside when a smaller one would work to feed the cord through. Great minds DO think alike.
