i would kill for another tomodatchi life for the switch/whatever handheld comes next. it was my favourite 3DS game growing up and i still go back to it, but there’s lots of changes i’d make to expand the experience and give the player a little more control over mii creation and such. things like different gender options (come *on* nintendo), being able to change mii gender after the fact, space for more miis, even multiple islands would be neat (even if there’s only say 3, they could have different themes and allow the player to group certain miis together). also more ways to progress because you can only get so far until you’ve unlocked everything and there’s little reason to play the game more. just some of my thoughts as someone who’s had that game since its release but also owns a switch

We still have 3 japan exclusive FE games that need remakes, those take priority over porting over Awakening which honestly doesn’t need to be ported over as other entires(Echoes is in the same boat as Samus Returns for ex). And if I’m being honest, I don’t think the next System needs any ports tbh. The Switch got em because of how bad the Wii U preform but this next system is coming off a success so different situation calls for different measures. Also, given the tone shift and how most casual games that did well sales wise in the past on handhelds didn’t find that same success on the switch(Brain series and Miitopia port sunk in sales), I wouldn’t expect too many super casual games on the next system

I am hoping that Switch 2 has two screens again somehow, or it’s some kind of option, meaning 3DS games, DS games, and even whatever is remaining from Wii U are that much easier to port over. And other things could come back too, EVEN Streetpass. In fact, PLEASE bring back Streetpass. With that said, I would love to see things like Streetpass Mii Plaza ported over to the Switch 2. The Kirby games and Ever Oasis, meeting a similar issue to the Metroid game you mentioned, would also be cool.

Okay, there is three 3DS Games that I would like to see Nintendo finally bring to Switch and they are Tomodachi Life, Kirby Triple Deluxe, and Kirby Planet Robobot. Because for Kirby Triple Deluxe that game looked so good with the story of Taranza capturing King Dedede instead of Kirby to bring to Queen Sectonia the real hero and it was pretty good and having new copy abilities and returning ones like Whip, Bell, Circus, Archer, Beetle, and Hypernova so I'm thinking why not bring that to the Switch because it would be cool to see some new content like having a new side mode for Taranza like they can have him try to find Sectonia after Kirby defeated her so that would be cool remake to release. For Kirby Planet Robobot okay I would say I love that game much better than Triple Deluxe because again you have new copy abilities which are Mirror, Doctor ESP, Jet, UFO, Poison, and Smash Bros well I don't know if they do want to bring the Smash Bros Ability since you have to use the Kirby Smash Bros Amiibo to get it since we know that ability was in Amazing Mirror, Dream Collection, and Planet Robobot. But I love the new Mechanic which is the Robobot Armor Suit because seeing it copy the enemy and having its ability with it looks so cool I do love the main character of the game Susie because she looks so cute and I love her and I love her in the game as well but it's cool how she helps Kirby to stop Star Dream and gives him his Robobot Armor Suit and then he copies Meta Knight's Halberd and uses it to stop Star Dream and then the final boss fight against Star dream turns out to be a Star Fox Battle which is really cool but it's sad to see the Robobot Armor Suit letting Kirby go and leaving the Robobot Armor Suit aside and it starts crying which is really sad so I think they should do a new side mode for Susie where she can try to find her Father President Haltmann or trying to find Kirby's Robobot Armor Suit cause I hope they can make her find Kirby's Robobot Armor Suit for him and bring it to back Kirby which would be so nice of her to do that for Kirby so it would be awesome to see this game finally come to Nintendo Switch. Or maybe they can do a two-pack and do full-on remakes of both Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot and giving us new side modes for both Taranza and Susie which that would be awesome for HAL and Nintendo to release on Switch but I hope they do not use the new Club Penguin or Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards design of King Dedede and maybe just use the Star Allies design of King Dedede instead. And finally Tomodachi Life the only reason I got Miitopia was because I've seen people playing the original version of it on 3DS on RUclips and since it came out on Switch I picked it up and played it, it was a really fun game I liked it it's because of the Mii Editor because people so many amazing Miis that they made with it like Mario, Kirby, Sonic, Parappa The Rapper, Luigi, Susie Haltmann, Magolor, Taranza, The Fnaf Animatronics, Bendy, Mickey Mouse, Bill Cipher, Pomni, Jax, Caine, Ragatha, Zooble, Kinger, Gangle, and the list keeps on going for how these people made those characters with the Mii Editor so I think it's time they can use the Mii Editor from Miitopia and bring it to Tomodachi Life and the game looks really fun and funny so it would be cool for Nintendo to finally bring Tomodachi Life to the Nintendo Switch. So I hope the next Nintendo Direct will be able to finally give us these 3DS remakes or remasters of these games to the Switch and make us hyped before we move on to Switch 2.

I think tomodachi life is a great idea. I’ve been wanting it since the switch came out. It’ll give the miis on switch more use instead of them barely being used but they’d need to add more stuff like you said to keep it from getting stale

i'm so shocked that tomodachi life never released for switch. it's such a weird move to remaster miitopia and give it such a great mii maker when tomodachi life sold way better and would benefit more from the updated mii maker... even adding some new interactions and items would be really cool

Just my opinion but porting a dual-screen, touchscreen, stereoscopic 3D game to a system with one screen, no stylus, no 3D, and probably FULL console price if we're being honest, is probably my least favorite practice in the entire industry except for like microtransactions. These games were made for that system. They should be celebrated on THAT system 🙏
