Em 1991 eles estavam entregando um som mais envolvente , mais orgânico , mais rápido e principalmente um som de bateria melhor , mais firme , mais cheio . Esse kit muito econômico do Weckl não ajuda a tornar essa versão do Trio melhor que o daquela época .Basta ver o vídeo da Akoustic Band Alive 1991 e este aí . Mas , claro , são elite da música , músicos extraordinários . Os vi ao vivo !

Wow! Sublime! So glad I got to see Chick and John McLaughlin at the Blue Note a few years ago. To this day, it is the best concert I ever attended.

Scott was the best guitarist in this band... in terms of creativity, sensibility, sound.... Period. It's only my opinion guys! I was a student at the MI at the time...

One of the very most underrated guitarists of all time. Had a knack for creating mood unlike a lot of guitarists that are more revered than him, and his phrasing is unreal. There's a reason Miles loved him so much.

BITTERSWEET!!! Being disabled, getting to a concert is not easy. I bought tix for this gig and drove 3 hours to the venue, having been told that I could park in a reserved space at the venue. I get there - no space!! I had to go outside the city and get a shuttle bus into town. I go. No shuttle!! I complained. Promoter couldn't have cared less. I missed the whole concert! So - this is the gig I was MEANT to have seen!! Whatever.... Thanks for posting!!

After Chic passed, I couldn't listen to his music,it made me so sad .. I think it's time to dust off the shelves and listen again..

Pattatucci's intonation on upright is so good, it's almost too perfect, where one might say this has to be post production editing magic of some sort. Also the tone is more electric bass like.

Chick Corea and His Electric Band is one of my favorite Fusion Bands. This band and his, "Return to Forever" Band have a Fantastic sound! R.I.P. Chick
