Did you get a code.
what were the symptoms or any codes?
Getting that code is the problem usually the sensor itself and not the thermostat?
I wish this was a step by step like from the beginning
Engine revs high, temp gauge in car doesnt move, stays at “ C”. Car works fine but AC does not work. Then in a few weeks, all starts working again. I need a new sensor right???
same here
@@dantrav1927 same here, I disconnect my battery and it resets it. This worked for about a year and now this hack only works for a day. Hence why I am on this journey to replace it.

@ ok thanks, found out mine is still under warranty for powertrain, 69,000 miles. I got lucky but the part is on back order so the heck is gonna work great m, appreciate it.

You deserve a raise
What are the symptoms of a bad inner rod. I hear a popping clicking when am parking and turning the steering all the way. Wonder if this is the problem
Wow, you were really able to use that tool take the inner tie rod off I tried it and it snapped the 3/8 extension you would think they would make it for a 1/2 extension.
What were the symptoms that the sensor had failed?
I’m about to do one of these in a few minutes. Not that I would do it this way, but your video was exceptional. Very good detail on what you did. Thank you.
So GM Updated this sensor to a new part that is actually longer. Its a bear to start and the only wat to tighten is with a 15mm swivel ratcheting wrench.
Great video man thanks alot
Thank you man
Do you need to disconnect the negative side of the battery or both before removing sensor? Negative and positive?
Not necessary
Haste makes waste my friend
Theres always more than 1 correct way to do things, especially in this trade
Good alternate method.
