FALL COLORS! October backpacking trip starting at Clingmans Dome on the beautiful Appalachian Trail. Visited High Rocks, a creepy old cabin and cemetery in Bone Valley, campsites 74 & 83, the beautiful Hazel Creek, and the sunset on the last night.

October backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Visited Spence Field on the Appalachian Trail, Jenkins Ridge (often called the hardest trail in the entire park!), Hazel Creek and Lakeshore trails, a creepy old abandoned house, a creepy old saw mill, and old cemetery, and the many river crossings on Eagle Creek.
