I have the same kit and had it for about 2 years but I have no clue how to line up the rear end. I took it to a shop to get it aligned they half ass did the front and did not even touch the back. I know this because I left all the jam nuts loose and when I got it back it they were still loose. Any way I would be interested in a video on the alignment of the rear end

Those damn things have been responsible for the destruction of five of my vehicles, including one 1961 Harley and that time I went down hard and was to un over by the bike behind me, was lifeflighted to shock trauma with 6 fractures in my pelvis and tailbone broken! They have also smashed up my '92 fox body ragtop, my '89 Caprice police unit, and a Chrysler I was borrowing from a buddy! I'm a deer magnet!

Hi. Have you tried to adjust the float???? you can't as that plastic tube gets in the way with the float and it won't close the fuel ..the car was going , but extremely rich!!!Car/carburettor engineer spent time in design and solving problems and at times still make recoil because thinks fail. Aftermarket stuff drive people crazy creating substitute that most of the time don't work, but because they sounds good we use extra imagination and pretend they work ...and no matter what...they keep on selling!!

The Mopar TKX has a cut out for that tunnel support and the shifter is in a different spot as mentioned. A body needs to split the tunnel

Nice Ride. I have a 1981 Diesel GMC Jimmy in my graveyard of vehicles. Needs complete restoration, probably one I am keeping out of my 6 square bodies. I love your paint job, I am old school and drove these trucks when they were new.

Good video, I experience not so good results also and went back to Carb but… I removed the ECU from the unit and mounted it under the hood, left all the input sensors connected including the TPS(made a bracket to carb). Now I can data log and change jets as needed. Just didn’t want to throw it all away since I spent so much money on it. I subbed too by the way 😊

I agree. ‘95 on the way to Sturgis @3am trailering 2 bikes I come over a hill and deer are all over the road. The closest one was facing the other way I’m on the brakes the next thing I know antifreeze , atf , and blood are everywhere. It broke the waterpump off the front of the 302v8.

Having a video screen in the background made viewing difficult. It may just be me but it was incredibly distracting. Old machinist, anti-seize is our friend.

Do you use ATF in yours? I think that was the factory spec. Gear oil doesn't shift very nice I find

I installed Fitech back in 2017 and it has worked terrific ever since. Well, I did 4 things to make it work. 1. I installed GM Tachometer filter anticipating a noisy tach signal, that's the SN20. 2. Every fuel line fitting was loose & needed extra tightening. 3. Throttle body was loose on the manifold due to 0.25" thick gasket from Summit (the throttle body was shifting position due to not being tight enough). 4. Once I got the fuel line fittings tight, it took several fuel pump cycles before the fumes were washed out of the gas lines. AFTER ALL OF THAT: starts up in any temperature and NO choke, I don't have to baby the throttle, I can just hop in, crank it, and let it warm up while I scrape the frost etc. This is an old (1987) Dodge 318 with Edelbrock RPM and lumpy cam, Dodge fixed position distributor (100% of the advance curve comes from the Fitech). MARVELOUS technology. It cost $995 for the 600hp basic kit plus another $245 for inline fuel delivery and $55 for return line, but I did get a $100 holiday rebate because I bought it before Christmas 2016. I kinda wish I had paid a little more for the boost version (have thought about a pro-charger upgrade). On the other hand, this thing works just fine, I'm not disappointed whatsoever.
