Steve im so proud of you for learning how to speak english and it sounds very well too. i know it must be hard since your a lunarian alien and your kind only speaks in "zbvxxvbmnmb" or effler language as i like to call it. And i bet it must be hard being a immigrant from planet zbvvxxnnbx9x and you must face alot of discrimination from us native earthlings. either way take care god bless👍🏽
Mr Effler I just want you to know I sincerely appreciate you uploading these silly old videos. I was the son of the people who ran this store and these videos were a fun part of my childhood. It's been so cool finding these and sending them to my mom to see again. Like I said in another videos comment, if you have anymore of these please let me know somehow. I know there is at least one out there somewhere with me in it as a small child that would be really fun to see too. But these alone are so cool to see, so thank you sir.
Would’ve been fun and interesting to have 2 leagues during that time. They actually had a TV deal with Turner I believe and NBC was intrested. Remember NBC was barely edged out by ABC for the USFL.

Of the lefty QBs I've seen throw; Stabler, Zorn, Young and Vick, I think Marinovich's was the most compact with the quickest release. Vicks arm was stronger, but I don't think he got rid of the ball as quickly.
Why'da you mention a Baby serial fuckin murderer!!!!!!!! Mothafuckin Devil Cowardly Coward pile of SHIT!!!!!!! Midevil!!!! Infinity!!!! Still to good fa IT!!!!!!!!....My Raiders now!!! Pray forcemijora all that's left!! Otherwise silver n black Will Cease to exist!!!...🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🐕🐘🐼🐬🐳🐅🐻🐖🐄
I went to the combine at North Texas state University (name at the time) and I was supposed go to the Carolina Cougars according to my agent at the time as a o-lineman. The next combine was in Tampa, Florida and I went there right before the league folded. Thanks for the memories!! LOL!
I was a huge fan of the USFL is well even though I'm in Tennessee I loved the Tampa Bay bandits it was the love of the USFL that made me want to join another professional football league which is why worked in the Canadian football league for the Shreveport Pirates in Louisiana I truly hope another spring football he comes along soon
I remember this league never seemed to get off the ground. The USFL beat them too it. I'm still grateful for the fun we had going to see Spring football. As a season ticket holder for the USFL Philly Stars.
Are you the Steve Effler from the video resume on the United Football League of Europe? If so can you email me directly at islandersb@aol.com I would like to ask you a few questions regarding why the UFL never played. I am a MAJOR collector of official game footballs and own a UFL game ball from that league you wanted to work for. Hope to chat back and forth soon on the more bizarre football leagues. Thank you, John Landers Brooklyn, NY 11209
DC was supposed to get a World League team had there been a 1993 season. Jim Speros was going to call them the Washington Renegades, and had offers from RFK and Byrd Stadium in College Park about where to play their home games, the league folded and Speros was awarded a CFL expansion team for Baltimore, eventually called the Stallions who were the only U.S. team to win the Grey Cup. When Modell moved the Browns to Baltimore to become the Ravens, the Stallions moved to Montreal to become the 3rd version of the Allouteets and the league pulled out of the U.S.
First off, it wasn't a playoff game, it was the last game of the season. Second, the Chiefs didn't "destroy" him. He threw 3 TDs and no INTs with a 100 passer rating in a 6 point loss. And it was his first NFL start. Check your facts.
7 Years later. LoL.. You are right. This was the last game of the season and Todd was given the start. The VERY NEXT week (in the playoffs)... they had to play the Chiefs again---- in Kansas City. Chiefs shut the Raiders out. They had time to learn from Todd.
good times. wish cfl came back.

I play for bms
I'm sorry...but this is absolute genius!
Bring back CFL !
US needs a CFL team.
That third TD he threw to Brown was a REALLY beautiful pass. Obviously he was a “failure” in the NFL, but he showed glimpses that he belonged.
Todd Marinovich had that wow factor at the quarterback position just incredible 😳😮
I remember the former Oklahoma rb Marcus Dupree saying that he would be willing to play for that league.
He once said he doesn't want to be Todd Marinovich. I wish he wasn't either. Then he would have been one of the best QBs to play in the NFL.
The NFL created the conditions to put the smile on Dads face, as a debt of gratitude for his devotion to the Game.

Did this put you on a path of shooting up and giving fellatio to support the habit?
What could've been
Man he has a good looking ball. Hope life is treating him a little better these days. Football isn’t everything.

Fantastic! This video makes me want to attend Holloway High
Looking for a Pirates jacket, very collectable.
Geez Doc Ellis can pitch a perfect game on acid. Why can't Todd?
