Thank you for this info! If I can talk to my younger self, I would say to always have a second job just for emergency savings. Your main career is for paying the bills. Please learn more different areas of your career(s). In the Chicagoland area, sign up for multiple temp agencies. On your free time even if it is only one evening per week or two weekends a month, work the nightshift. I do not care if is at a security gig. Have a backup so this does not throw you off guard. God Bless everyone. Everything will be OK. Stay strong.

Sorry to hear this and you have a great perspective. I am still shocked they couldn't make the model work given their pricing power and the number of customers that come through their doors. You're spot on with the idea of "career security" - some roles are easier to find work quickly. We advocate for building passive income over the long haul because getting laid off in your 40's and 50's is even worse. Good luck!!

I am a Walmart shareholder, and I agree with the layoffs because the clinics were underperforming. Maybe Walmart workers should save some cash and buy back some WMT stock, and if they get laid off, then they have an asset that pays them dividends.

I just took the nclex ngn and passed . I believe theres no amount of studying you can do to pass that test because its random .The test does test you on your knoweledge ,but i believe the nclex test's you on your confidence,mental endurance,and skill at test taking . The question on nclex were very different from uworld and archor questions . Still do questions ,but on nclex dont think to deep into questions .most of the time your going to have to do a lot of process of elimination . Most of the time i didnt know what the question was asking but i believe this is how nclex wants it .they wanna see if you know how to problem solve under pressure . Most people even said they didnt know what the heck was on the test ,but trust me they do this for a reason its not because you dont know anything its because they are trying to test you in other areas rather then knowledge you aquired at school. Take your time with each question i spent close to four hours to answer only 85 questions . Theres no need to rush and make sure your hydrated and take breaks .bring some coconut water with you its very good for your brain and great electroltyes . You got this

I retake my nclex a month from today. I am so so nervous. I feel so stuck. I have gone through so much in my personal life since I graduated in May. I took my nclex for the first time in October and I went into it hoping I did not fail, but in the back of my mind I was telling myself I was going to fail. I plan to be more confident in myself this time around. Thank you so much for making this video! I feel like I have hope.
