I yap about music. Mostly metal. I touch on rock, punk, oi, goth, wave, classical, ambient, folk, and oldies as well. I don't cater to the PC crowd. If that's an issue, there are plenty of channels you can watch that toe the line. Cheers.

Getting the (Ban)d Together | Vol. 2
These guys are pretty good, and they don't sound like many other bands I have heard. Except the other bands members are in.
I used to listen to only the first Immolation album for years. I like all of their stuff, most of it I just don't need though. I really like the first 5 albums. I can understand why someone would only want 1 album by them.
@@RichardCranium. Yeah. I can understand people even liking their whole discography. They crush on stage; I'll give 'em that.
Just saw this channel, sick as fuck (And the jacket) for me this would be lord wind (pagan dark wave project of rob darken) couldn’t get into the modern stuff unfortunately, but that first album is great
@@Dvng10ndweller Much appreciated! Man, I completely forgot what Lord Wind even sounds like. Love me a good chunk of the Graveland discography, though. Even that last full-length "Hour of Ragnarok" has been growing on me. I'll revisit Lord Wind. Cheers!
This is definitely gonna be on my list to purchase 🙌🏼🔥
Hope you're able to find it!

this shreds
That jacket is extremely hard.
BRETT!👍😎🤘
Slayer for me, first album is a perfect 10/10, everything else is decent at best imo
@@Thabba76 I agree on that Show No Mercy rating. One of my favorite albums ever, and it blows away everything else Slayer did. That said, I do like Hell Awaits and Seasons in the Abyss. I can understand why somebody wouldn't, though.
@@FumesofHatred i think their other albums are good too but if i ever want to listen to slayer, i have no reason to not go for the first album because everything else they did is in a style that other bands like sodom do better imo
@@Thabba76 Those Slaughter Lord demos, too.
Fantastic album feels very unique and authentic Will definitly order the LP
@@rohrreinigeracapulco8704 Awesome. Grab up whatever you can find from them. It's all stellar. 🍻
This band is phenomenal I’ve been listening to that madre norte album I bought atleast once a day lol it’s so unique in terms of the instruments and ambiance
Agree! All of their albums are phenomenal. A perfect discography thus far.
@@FumesofHatred what do you think of eztlacuani and dragon de hierro?
@@TheTransylvanian Dig 'em. I enjoy pretty much anything that Yaocuicatl puts out, no matter what banner. Nexcoyotl is my favorite of his projects, though.
Can it be acquired in mp3 form somewhere?
@@EternalChud I'm sure there is a link, but I don't know where you'd acquire it. Someone uploaded the entire album on Bitchute, though.
@@FumesofHatred Thank you.
Manilla Road for me. Big Hawkwind fan here.
@@williamgregg8062 Manilla Road are fantastic. The Deluge is my favorite from them. I dig me some Hawkwind.
Dude knows nothing
Comments on Vital Remains, Goreguts, Gorefest, Unanimated, Usurper, Brutality, Edge of Sanity, Murder Squad, Merciless, HatePlow, or Lowbrow???
@@gurnblanston5000 I love everything Vital Remains did UNTIL the Glen Benton era. Unanimated are great. Brutality as well. Love Merciless. Unbound is one of my all-time favorite records. Hateplow and Murder Squad are fun, but I feel no need to buy them.
@@FumesofHatred Everbody has to have decerning taste, options are necessary. Six Feet Under actual has a few tunes I like the riffing especially if I was 13 or so. Cannibal Corpse I forgot to listen to since Bloodthirst (remember liking this). Malevolent Creation, Master, and Autopsy are intense, but hard to find more than 2 songs per album good. Still haven't heard anything since St Anger but the 4 song ep and a couple off the 2016 album. Newer Massacre US, Solstice (US), old Warhammer, 1st 2 or 3 Therion, that Possessed new one. Napalm Death had a few but that was a loooong time ago 2003-4. Gotta comb the collection and pass then on to new homes. While listen to Morbid Tales/To Mega Therion and Hellhammer. Any opinion on Edge of Sanity, Dismember, or Tenebrae (Finland)?
@@FumesofHatred How would Unanimated compare to Merciless sonically or musically? Any opinion of Mercyless (France)? Sorry for so many questions, it's great your know so much and probably alot more.
@@gurnblanston5000 Dismember and Malevolent Creation are up there on my list of all-time favorite bands. Also love Autopsy. Unanimated are awesome, but I prefer Merciless. Mercyless - Abject Offerings is an underrated masterpiece. I haven't bothered with anything Massacre (US) has done since that crappy Promise album. Hahah.
@@FumesofHatred Me either, but will here soon. Pestilence, Goreguts, Gorefest, old Vadar (Black To The Blind was last I remember, though Litany and others are brutal, can't recall any pounding riffs), Simister, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Abcess, Bathory here and there. "THE RETURN OF DARKNESS AND EVIL" album version, is THE Be-All, End-All black metal song since 85. Nothing compares in ferocity, to me. Not into screaming (screamo is different somehow?) and whispering grindcore/kpop stuff of last 20 years. Or atmospheric/ethereal sounds as it sounds the same and makes me sleep. Would need a guide or chatgpt/ai to comb out the bands that have sounds I like, but so many and only 1/3 in usa if that. Instead of new music, my mind went into kid mode and I would try to interchange sonic qualities of different audio scenarios such as AJFA having production of $5.98 EP. Or Black Sabbath and Motorhead covering each other's songs, accounting for each specific albums production values. AI doing these modifications to sound would be a worth engineering project for brilliant people. Along with bioengineering to repair Charcot foot, fckn btch that it is.
Dark Fury as it should be!
AND YOU LISTEN ALL THAT MUSIC???
Just about. Usually go through about 6 or 7 albums a day. Sometimes 10.
@@FumesofHatred YOU RECORD SOMETHING LIKE REVIEWS OR?
Nah. Personal enjoyment. I give lots of recommendations, but never extensive reviews.
I was a teenager when "Dawn of Possession" came out, absolutely love that album. I also remember when "Herein After" hit the scene so I've got fond memories of that album as well. But hey, to each there own. Cool video, man.
@@devildozer Killer! I think Here in After has great moments sprinkled in there. That solo on Nailed to Gold, as well as the intro to Christ's Cage. Thank you! 🍻
Have you ever heard of a band called Brainbombs?
@@fuhrersavior9575 Never heard 'em. I'll check them out.
I have the classic first album from Coroner coming in the mail today.

@@fuhrersavior9575 Something like that. 😆
I wasn't that big into immolation honestly... I do have the first two records though or should I say CDs...☕🚬🤘
This guy must have no music knowledge at all (complete sarcasm btw holy hell you have a COLLECTION!)
@@fmilton20 You had me for a second. 😄 Thank you! I need a bigger room!
Skindred for me. They've become progressively less heavy with each album. Also, Napalm Death after their second album.
@@AdamLambourn Skindred rings a bell, but I'm not sure if I've heard them. Yeah, I'm not on board with any Napalm Death albums. Siege of Power is a killer track, though. I think that's what it's called.
On immolation im the opposite. I dont like dawn of possession but i like the rest. "Closer.." for example. Im gonna check out Obtained enslavement. Question: the demigod's album has also another version right? One more coloured that i tought it was the original version. About bands i dont care beyond the debuto for me: Deicide.
@@kamo124 It has versions with different contrasts of the album art, if that's what you mean. Same with Funebre - Children of the Scorn. I understand that Deicide pick. I like Legion a lot, but I honestly prefer the Amon demos over anything under the Deicide banner.
Solid video dude. Keep up the great work. Love from Macedonia
@@MetalHistoria Thank you for the kind words. Cheers! 🍻
Immolation is one of my alltime favourite band so obviously I disagree, but music is a different experience for everyone and sometimes it’s just your mindset that decides what you hear or get into. So I respect all opinions as long as they come from an honest place.
@@YONATOOTH Well said, and likewise. If people question my honesty, I just pull out the latter Entombed albums. 😆
The Bronx is mine.
Interesting topic, Trevor. I've only ever owned the first Demigod album and certainly won't be buying the rest. Immolation is a band I enjoy without being fully immersed in their stuff. This has certainly got my mind working 👍
@@seanbeast939 Hell yeah, Sean. I'd be interested to see your list if you decide to put one out. 🤝
Idk bands that come to mind are Goatwhore, Coldworld and I Shalt Become. Goatwhore’s demo cassette is one of my all time fav albums. Don’t care for any of their full lengths.
@@olarrist4273 I have a bunch of Goatwhore albums, but haven't heard the demo, which is sad. I need to rectify that. I had one Coldword album. Melancholie, I believed it was called. Didn't move me at all. Then again, I'm not into the Depressive Black Metal in general.
Bro I’m exactly the opposite with Immo. Love dawn of possession but for me it only gets better from there
@@jaredwiebe8477 I'm happy for ya. Wish that was the case for me. To each their own!
Never bothered with any Demigod albums after the debut glad I didn't 😂 I'll need to track down that Entained Enslavement. Surprised about Immolation but they're a band which I'm well overdue revisiting. Interesting topic Trev 🍻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@pieface8032 Thanks, Simon! Yeah, don't bother with later Demigod. Borrrrring.
Immolation went to more bland , and slam, nu-metal influenced stuff after DOP.
@@anyss-tj7ht They definitely were borrowing from a lot more bands, and not necessarily ones that I'm a fan of.
Idk, definitely went more avante garde but its still death metal to me through and through
It’s so weird how different people can hear things. I have a completly other experience but hey, that is just the magic of music.
Immolation has a biography for pre-order you probably wanna buy, haha. I never liked Obtained Enslavement either. Sometimes I think of buying the first album again, but don't cause I've got enough of their contemporaries playing that blasting melodic style in my collection. Emperor is a band whose SECOND album I like better, haha. As compared with In the Nightside Eclipse, Athems to the Welkin at Dusk sounds more musically accomplished at using symphonic music either to accentuate, compliment, or as segues for blasts, melodies, and riffs. Plus the music is more tense and epic as are the vocals and their styles/octaves.
@@deathevokation1017 Oh, boy! 😆 Man, I agree on that Emperor take. The Wanderer is a perfect closer. Goddamn gorgeous instrumental. I don't blame you for not buying the first Obtained Enslavement. I enjoy it, but I don't consider it a mandatory listen.
Black Metal Store in Brazil, Xtreem Music, Osmose, Drakkar, Wolfspell Records, Lower Silesian Stronghold, Hass Weg, and Christhunt all come to mind. Hells and Dark Descent too.
Still haven't ordered from Black Metal Store. I take it they're legit? Lower Silesian Stronghold and Christhunt came to mind right after I stopped recording. As well as Purity Through Fire. Speaking of Christhunt, if you want to pick up some Nordglanz albums, that's the place to go. Tinnitus should have a couple as well.
@@FumesofHatred I've ordered from BM store many times. They've a great distro.
amazing channel !
Thank you!
Super 👍🏻
Was that a cassette tape? Do they still make those?
@@TomCamp-l6x They've been making a comeback the last few years, which I love to see.
@@FumesofHatred Interesting. I did not know that. Cool video.
@@FumesofHatred Hell yeah!!! Cronos quote.😅
Immolation fan boy here. I totally get why people wouldn't be into their sound though. I'd have to put some thought into what bands I only like the debut albums from. Interesting question. Just subscribed
Their debut was original, but from their second album they started borrowing too much influence from more avant-garde original bands such as Demilich, especially in terms of those very obvious Demilich style pseudo melody driven riffs...
@@RobinoviHudovi I didn't even consider that, but you're right on the money.
@@macabre19 Much appreciated!
Never checked Demigod. Love some Immolation though. The debut never resonated with me much dunno why
@@thegrimmfluencer Hiiiiiighly recommend you check out that Demigod album, Dave.
@FumesofHatred Aye it's onn my listt Trevor!
I'm with you on Immolation. Fellow cursed ginger here. 😆 Just subscribed.
Welcome aboard! 🤝
Where's the Steely Dan debut brah brah?
@@JB-wh9ux Woulda been on here if Chevy Chase was playin' the drums.
Wild sponge spotting
I agree that post Slumber of Sullen Eyes Demigod is a massive disappointment. Immolation are a great live band. They have great energy and stage presence. I like all their albums, but after Dawn of Possession they change drastically. Their riffs become a lot more esoteric, and they lose that head banging viciousness. Great one, Trevor!
@@9thcircle73 I definitely understand the appeal for them. But yeah, I don't find myself headbanging to their post-Dawn stuff. It's a bummer. Thanks, Bill! 🍻
