Drove in 2 7/8 inch post to 3 1/2 feet deep. Making an opening in an existing fence.
Take ya all day to do a short stretch of fence? S. L. O. W.
I saw a lot of slack in that 2 point wire before you released you come a long.. why was that?
I’m not usually a naysayer but I’m watching this thinking I’d have put that post in, in quarter that time with a mini excavator. I have rocky ground & I can push in wooden straining posts (6” diameter) all day with a 13 tonne excavator
That driver is expensive but still a fraction of a mini ex.
The one I need is almost $1,000! That is crazy expensive…
Neat but slow
Is that the 2 7/8 driver or the 3 1/2 driver with the 2 7/8 reducer?
The hardest part I have when doing it by hand is keeping the post level as they go in, I think that would be the best thing about this device.
Seems like if that thing was about 5 to 10 pounds heavier it would really move that post. I'd be tempted to strap on some weight on the outside, haha. Even so, much better than wrecking your shoulders with a manual one.
