Considering this Mario's rather glaring mistakes (no red sweater being the standout example), I can't help but see similarities to 2017X, as if he's a 2017X Mario Mix. Though, between how 2017 thinks he really is Sonic, the chill vibe of this song, and the description, I like to headcanon Mario The Super took his role in stride; even if he's so deep in delusion that he thinks he IS Mario, he still upholds the principles and morals of the real deal, as opposed to 2017 letting his delusion lead him to violence.

i've bothered to read literally all of the comments and i have to agree with them. Everything feels uncanny but not in a negative way? It all feels joyful, but not in the standard way that humans are used to feeling if that makes sense? like if an alternate race had made mario instead, and put their own melody on it, but it's so related to mario that it can't be seen as anything else but 1-1 The music crafting is also very well made, the more i listen to it the more things i notice that i hadn't before
