this is during the gloomrot expansion so the damage damage sacling is more like normal mode in the current game. Mechanics still the same

I would say their strat worked since they down the boss... all characters are "viable". Just because they didn't down it in 2 mins don't mean shit.

The descendants you give credit to here are great picks and it is for sure good advice.This however is a PUG. Many pre made team set ups can indeed do this in ~2:00 but this is not relevant for the content of this video. If i showed a speed run I would not be able to showcase the mechanics of the boss in all it's glory and show that any descendant can do this. The reason I choose Ult Ajax here is firstly, I just kitted him out and wanted to go in as a support in the hope that if I get paired with some hard hitting squishies I can get them back up and turn a fail run into a win. It sure worked and I did this 10's of times now on Ajax and also to note that many times we did not even have an ult valby in the team and it simply wasn't a problem aslong as people know the mechanics and we stay hot on the impurities. I did not wish to get yujin because he has not got an ult version yet and so I would rather sleep on that till he arrives. Same for Enzo, I do own him and use him purely for vaults, he will get retired once his Ult form comes. If I wanna try my luck at a speed run in a PUG I use my Ult Lepic, works great half the time as long as there is another nuker or two. I look forward to using my Ult Gley but sadly she isn't built for this yet but I am working on it. NOTE: Ult Ajax buffed today and this will make his shields scales with resistance. This hopefully means his shields will be able to soak significantly more damage in Gluttony. Can't wait to test this soon. Also looking at the wider picture, as content gets harder down the line, utility descendants are likely going to be much more useful. Ult Ajax may just be the GOAT?! Thanks for the support!

I play Gun spec lepic with hp/def mods mainly so just rely on the mp drops. What mods etc do u use for in combat regen btw? No room for mp regen mods and gear in this build sadly :o. Fire Awaits doesn't exist anywhere else but here at the time of writing but I'll speak with J.E.R on this one.

This shows the materials I have selected to hunt making it quicker to get farming him, along with footage of how to do the missions etc for people to see that aren't familiar with it to learn new things and avoid testing different infiltrations/missions etc that are not time effective. This, I would say makes thing objectively 'faster'.

Yes but as first thing. WF doesn't hate you with RNG. Also items in WF u can farm in team and have almost 100 chances of getting and not this game bs. Also the most important part. You can get premium currency for free in WF

I would suggest it's possible since my piercing light is not upgraded or having a catalyst on it when it was one shotting this boss. Take weak point and crit mods for sure. Shotgun also might be a viable option. Also note that you can die and still get the pattern. There have been many cases where i got a glancing shot with the sniper or didnt crit hard enough and died too but still got the pattern.

Forest Gaze and Recipient Unknown have high attack values and would be your best substitute for Piercing Light I would say :)

I had the same bad luck on the first piece. Hang in there. 10% is way better than a 3% or 6% is what I kept telling myself :)

I didnt get lucky with the first piece which took me over 40 attempts at the material. This shows the places i went to farm for lepic based on what I think is most time effective. That's what i hope people get from this. Also I have added chapters so youn can skip quickly to the parts you might be more interested in and for peoplw who just want to know at a glance where the pieces come from, then the graphic that pops up can just be paused on. Oh boy, randoms fighting the hanged man was fun haha. You have to pray your teammates know mechanics and that they at least have def and hp mods. Had one player keep dying and just running around not knowing what to do in my first one, and the second one had 3 Freyna players with my Viessa tank build(over 75k defense 😅) but we used up all deaths. For the third time of randoms we had 2 Bunny's, an Ajax, and my Viessa. We cleared it with 1 death left.

I pugged this with tamer a while back now and we did him before the enrage mechanic kicked in. Pugs should be much better now since the pool of players with crazy damage builds is larger. Best of luck to your with this!

For this you can complete the infiltration in stealth (hack the terminals in camoflage using Sharen) and in under a minute for bonus loot, then kill the boss. Once you have done this and have gotten the pattern, head over to the Void Fusion Reactor in the Ruins area of Vespers, start the reactor up, kill boss, and then a decronstruction device will spawn where you can open the pattern.
