This is a compilation from the GOLD race at Mettet old circuit. After having a wonderful weekend of racing I was invited for the GOLD race. On saturday I was 4th in 500Gr2 and 3rd in 350Gr2. My honda fours did OK. The sunday was even better and with the 350 I was 2nd. The 500 should have been 2nd but too Hans de Ridder was 0,022 seconds faster.................. But I was satisfied with the 3rd ...

Absolutely fantastic machinery. The Italian use of light weight aerospace metals.The almost Italian obsession with flirting with higher than atmospheric pressure compression ratios and the unmistakable sound of an absolute engineering product that delivers. Yes they are temperamental they go or don't. But when they did the results showed through. Gorgeous sound and a superlative peice of mechanical engineering.

JIM REDMAN riding, after 44 years (1966), the big HONDA RC 181 (RA15) again on the holy track during the CENTENNIAL TT ASSEN, saturday sept. the 18 - 2010. Despite the wet track, he enjoyed the ride very much!!!!
Jim is alleen vrijdag en zaterdagochtend aanwezig geweest. Hij had verplichtingen op Scarborough in Engeland. Jim heeft op een 250 productieracer gereden en deze RC181RA 500. Volgende keer beter opletten Henk!
