Some moments before, during, and after the Great Horned Owl mom discovers that her 50 plus days old egg has cracked (at about 2 minutes in) . Some sections are sped up and there's no audio. Captured from the Presidio San Francisco's live cam at ruclips.net/channel/UCq5MY3g4d000F7RI0kLzwxw

Nice one bruddah!
Something nostalgic about japanese radio in Hawaii
Look mostly the same 20some years later
Lived at Westlake Village Apartments then by the BART Station. My brother worked in that mall. Nostalgia. Miss the Hollywood Video, Walgreens, Safeway, haircuts, doing my taxes, and etc there.
Beverly’s craft store & Hollywood Video memories hit hard for me at this location. Simple times
MARCOS LIVED IN THIS AREA WHEN HE LEFT THE PHILLIPPINES.
Hawaii in the early 2000`s look like Colorado but with a beach 😂
Who else remembers the pager stand that stood in the alley way in the mid 90’s? Pager chains, cases and LEDs!
I remember that!! I loved going in the alley as a kid! So many cool shops back there!!
Now I wasn't born at the time this video was this was filmed but I've been living in Daly City my whole life now and I've been on a nostalgia trip on how the whole city looked when I was a kid. This video amazes me on how much time has passed.
Omgosh I was in high school and living behind Burlington coat factory at that time.
They should have never turned that bowling alley into a stupid Burlington Coat Factory. Now they’re getting ready to build an apartment on that piece of land.
@@ncstar24 Another one?
You ever wonder what we were doing that day when this video was shot? All the memories come flooding back of my childhood. I was only 10 and still live in the same house so the changes are vastly different now.
3:17pm on 2/6/00. I actually remember the day quite well. It was a Sunday afternoon on good ol’ South Mayfair Ave. A week and a day away from Valentines Day. I was 17 and had just broken up with my high school sweetheart. I remember feeling like life was over. Then my grandma asked me to go grab the mail, and there it was, a Fredericks of Hollywood catalog with 4 pairs of boobies on the cover. I ran back in the house, threw the rest of the mail on the dining table and went straight up to my room and made sure the door was locked. Let’s just say that I will be forever grateful for those fine looking ladies of Frederick’s of Hollywood on getting me through those rough times.
Holy shit. Hollywood video. Damn thats crazy.. i remember all of this
What was the name of that other video rental store that stood where Carvana is today? Oh shit just remembered as I’m typing. Ultimate Video!
siiiick lol damn im old i was 9 yrs old in 2000 sighhh the good old days
Bob Mackenzie is a legend. They don't make any like him anymore. Always loved his segments.

New York 1940s in Color!, Driving Downtown
Guessing after the war. Though the japanese you have on top actually says Japan in the late 80s. Not the 80s, that for sure.
Looks like a lot of US cars.
The algorithms need to be improved to track objects better so the coloring stays where it needs to be. Plus there's nothing wrong with using more vibrant, saturated colors, Technicolor-like. There were spots where it couldn't decide where to put color and it moved around. It's an improvement over computer colorization years ago, and there's more yet to improve.
No sound?

Amazing footage! Do you have idea where these were shot??
I was a kid back then. I was 6 years old. And I remember that vividly. I moved away from Daly City when I was 12. I loved west lake. When I came back as an older teen it was different. I had an amazing childhood. Thank you for posting this
Amazing. Colorized version is so much better!
stunning!
Holy shit that's good.
Yes it's amazing what deshaker, convert to 60fps and deoldify can do with an old film clip.
Nice smoothness. How did you make it 60fps?
I followed the instructions at www.spirton.com/convert-videos-to-60fps/
Damn I remember fights up in Westlake back in the days lol
So many memories in the original plaza! Damn so much changed I remember the Denny’s and the radio shack
bravo thank you
A remarkable result, where 'the soap opera effect' is shown to be, in fact, 'the reality effect'. It might not be what you want for a feature film (where the 'unreality' of slow frame rates is a feature not a bug), but it's a brilliant improvement for such documentary slice-of-life footage. Thanks for posting it.
As boring as Westlake was I kinda miss it. I used to turn up in that place
WONDERFUL ALL THE WAY. PERIOD
Went to SFSU and stayed here at Westlake Village Apartments across the street in 1999...some explosions of memories as I watch this. Many munchie runs to Walgreens, Pizza at the name of the place I cant remember, Burger King is still there ha!, Trader Joes food runs, etx. Was really a harmless and kind of life less place back then but somehow I liked it better then the new stylings I found there a year ago. Thanks for posting, so crazy that footage 18 years old looks like 50 year old video! Times are a changin....
Hey, the pizza was Straw Hat Pizza! I was 6 at the time of this recording, but I remember it vividly and fondly.
@@piedude67 the only thing I remember about that place was the creepy Smoking poster that hung up near the front.

Straw Hat Pizza is where I would put my quarter down on the corner of a Street Fighter 2 arcade and said- I got next!
