But I think, Wook had Karma after abandoning his wife's feeling and rather focused on Haesoo. He himself even told it on the last episode that he regretted abandoning his wife's feeling.

It just that Wook has a family to protect while Wang so don't have a family who cares for him so he doesn't have anyone to lose and that's easy for him to give up everything while Wang Uk was caught between family and Haesoo. The first half of scarlet heart was in shades of pink, beautiful and Wang wook and hae soo relationship was like cherry blossoms, it was beautiful and something you cannot forget and then Wook changed. I really don't like his sister and his mother. He got obsessed with the throne because he wanted to be with hae soo but in the process he completely forgot her .

Loved them together so much. Hated that their fate had turned out to be so bad and hurtful towards the end! He should have never let her go just like Wang So who never let go of her consciously until the end. He should have just let his wicked sister rot and chosen Hae Soo amidst every adversity. Hae Soo forgave him many times and still cared for him but he was the foolish one; The Court Lady who was Taejo's lover told him that one day he would regret turning his back on Hae Soo. Anyway, the memories these two shared were heart fluttering and heart warming and deserve to be remembered.. Only if we can overlook what he did to her and how, since he protected his sister, Hae Soo was tortured and she acquired the chronic illness which ultimately led to her untimely death. For Wook, Prince Moo who cared for Soo like an elder brother had to die and Soo got framed for his death. For Wook, she couldn't get to marry So, become the queen and have her well-deserved happiness. The irony was that everytime Wook sacrificed and went to great lengths for his sister Yeon Hwan but his sister didn't think twice before betraying her brother and family. If not for Soo's request, Wook would have been executed. But even after that, he helped his sister and managed to get Soo leave the palace. I don't care if Soo was grateful to Wook by seeing this act as Wook getting her the freedom she yearned for. Wook, until the end did things against the interest of Soo no matter what results they bore. He never loved her. A man who never fully loved the loving, caring wife beside him; how could he love someone else. He who never became fully his wife's, how could he ever become someone else's!? Wook was the character which brought warmth and a sense of soft love to the show but he had this vicious self which when came out, made him the coldest and the most dangerous one.

He is intelligent, family-oriented, and considerate of others, but in Episode 11, he begins to change... we all knew he did it for his family and Haesoo but he really did bad tho, Yeonhwa was pressuring him but Haesoo put the finishing blow by supporting Wangso instead :( When he says at the end that he always pours his heart out and makes mistakes, he is always coming to terms with the fact that the realization comes at the end. My poor Wook & Haesoo heart 😭 Hoping to see this two on a drama as main leads 🤞🏻
