That is one of the sweetest comments that I have ever gotten! It was definitely a lot of fun years singing and performing at community theaters with our children. It goes way to fast. Now they are all in college and beyond! My only advice is to start singing and listening to music with harmony when they are very young. I used to play my choir practice CDs in the car all of the time and all three kids developed great ears for harmony without much training. I think it is like learning a language and it came naturally because of hearing the harmony from an early age. What kind of performing do you both do?

Also we just got back from seeing my youngest son at his college performance of Pippin. He is a first year musical theatre major and in the ensemble/understudy. Since you are my second comment about the soprano, I changed the title to Mezzo Soprano. Both these kids do musical theater and have big ranges, which is kind of needed for this version. I am leaving the tenor in the title, as I disagree with you on that. Yes, my son was a young tenor here but his voice had mostly changed. Although I am not sure he could still sing this as an 18 year old with a fully changed voice. I have been meaning to have him try as I would love for them to sing this again at our church someday. Anyway good luck finding the song you are looking for!

Marianne Smith • 2 years ago The piano was arranged by JACK SCHRADER, but it wasn't a very good fit. They had been practicing with a karaoke up until the day before the performance when they finally got to work with the pianist. Unfortunately, the sheet music had some extra measures and clashing chords that didn't go with their harmonies and I was literally crossing out clashing chords and measures an hour before the performance. They made up the vocals so there is no sheet music for the vocal party.

@@MarianneRSmith, But there is sheet music for the pianist, Correct?

@@Isaiahartavia Yes, it is for the pianist. The music is by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene and published under Word Music. I believe that it was arranged by Jack Schrader. I did have to modify the piano music at the end a little to match what they wanted to sing so that the harmonies would sound good.
