this is for 2010 dodge journey. I'm sure it's similar for all of them. not a real mechanic, just a backyard mechanic trying to save us all a few dollars this is my first video, I like to work on cars so I hope to keep posting more like this in the future.
Thanks for the video, im going to attempt my 1st oil change come this weekend. However i have one question how do u clear the oil change due message?
Turn the key to the on position and back off, then back on again and push the pedal 5 times. Do not start the car just turn it to the on position. And push the pedal to the floor each time. Then start it up and see that the message went away.
Where did u get ur hitch
Good video😊
Do. Not start vehicle. With little. Or no. Oil. Unless. You want to put a new. Engine. In.
250k still going strong
Thanks for showing it, where can I put the stand while jacking up front or back?
I learned so much from this! Thank you
This guys really gotta stop shopping at baby gap. Get ya fat ass down to the store and buy a large bud who ya trying to kid rockin an extra medium that shirts about to explode. Homeboys prego with about 20 rolls of sushi
Thanks so much for your hard work 💰
Just changed my brakes, and my pedal goes to the floor with hardly any stopping power.
Is the brake fluid resevoir full? Do you see any puddles of oil?
@@therealspeedracer yes, it is full. Just re bleed them and they've gotten worse. It was no where near this bad with old pads
@@xchrisx84x10 take the tires back off and check it out, something must be installed incorrectly. Why did you bleed the brakes? Did you take apart any of the brake lines?
@@therealspeedracer I bled the brakes because I installed the pads on worn rotors 'that I didn't realize', so there was hardly any contact between the two. I thought air got introduced in the lines. I took it in today.
Thanks man. You showed me exactly what I came for. Wether or not it was possible to wind the piston back with out the special tool.
Thank you so much man for showing the oil bottle, letting us know it's capacity, title, for naming the required oil filter specification. You're awesome!
Nice bro
How not to install a trailer hitch on a 2009 dodge journey
You remind me of LGR. Very cozy voice
Thank you!
Thank you very much, Sir! Informative, collected, and polite. Keep up the amazing work!
Well I’m still lost my problem is it’s a difficult situation trying to disconnect the wire adapter from the bulb it’s extremely frustrating!
Thanks for the tips, very useful
Looks delicious, good job👏

thank you bro 🤜🏾🤛🏾
How can yu heard leakin oil lol
Wow! Great Job!!! You did a lot of hard work. Now I need help upgrading the SXT radio to the premium. Any advice? Thx!!!!
Thanks. I haven't played with the radio so I'm not sure what's involved to get the premium system installed. But from what I've read you're better off to look for an aftermarket system then to put the factory alpine system in. Not say that alpine is bad just the configuration they used for the Journey isn't the greatest. Look at the reviews online, many people pulled or modified that system to make it better.
Gloves?
I try to do all my own mechanics jobs, so I RUclips A LOT. This was by far the shortest, to-the-point, smartest, most informative, easiest to follow video ever.
Thank you so much
Why did you have to change resevoir? My coolant is leaking have to add more. Now they say i need new radiator? What do you think?
It was cracked. I'd fill it up and it would leak out once it was up to temperature. I could see it was wet all around the seem in the middle of it. So it always drained down to that horizontal seem.
thank you for this video.
Nice video very helpful 👍
Yes finally a video I can follow
Where I got the antifreeze at
Walmart, or Canadian Tire. You can check the gas station but it might be more expensive than a automotive or department store.
Make sure to get the right kind that says for Chrysler and Dodge
Good job
Good to know. Thanks for sharing.
