Nature is revealed in its entire splendour in the serene lakes, cascading rivers and pristine waterfalls. Sacred lakes, waterfalls and hot water springs dot the mountainous landscape. Sikkim has a spectacular diversity of natural habitats and wildlife within a small geographic area of just 7,096 Sq. Km. From the river valleys and verdant forests to alpine meadows with rainbow of flowers blooming in monsoon; to the ice barren high glaciers and cold deserts - the vistas are endless and captivating for a visitor who is taken aback by such splendour.

bro on which date u went? and also i heard dat we have to TREK 22 km to reach d temple! is it true?
I went on 20th jan and yes u have to trek! Bt not for 22kms but for 8.5 km climbing which requires a lot of stamina!! Make sure u carry food and water and less weight! It will be adventurous, u should try! It will take almost 3 to 3.5 hours to reach the summit! Have Fun! Feel free to ask if any queries!
some are saying dat der are 2 ways 2 trek, 1 z a 3 km trek nd other z 22 km trek! we r gonna come from andhra! so can u please suggest !
let me tell u its only one way to the top! and if u are planing to climb up then it is 8 km but if u take short cuts then maybe it will be little bit less. two wheelrs will help you to shorten the distance
and follow the road! kaccha rasta is there for tourist to climb!
