Tutorial on Propagation of Lucky Bamboo (Dracaena braunii) plants I've added a new Lucky Bamboo Video ruclips.net/video/TMq7tbxK7as/видео.html
Great to see another bamboo video!
My bamboo plant turning yellow after cutting 😢😢😢😢
Did you wax the top end? sometimes if it is a small cutting it dries out from the top or it could be that the cutting wasn't strong enough to live on its own. So Sorry
Thank you for this great video! Will you add a link to your 3d printer bamboo holders? Looking forward to seeing the results!
Thanks for the compliment, I will make a video about the holders and 3D printing them. The results are already interesting, I accidentally bumped the wax top on one of the propagations and I'm sad to say it dried out in a short time. Shows the importance of sealing the top end of your cuttings with wax!!
You most definitely and certainly are the most knowledgeable person on bamboo and I appreciate this video so much thank you lucky bamboo man ❤😂P.S I want more videos from you please
How often should I change the water when propagation?
I separated one leafy branch from main bamboo a year ago… it grew roots but never grew itself. It remained the same size as when I detached it. Why is that? Now I am afraid to detach any other branch and I need to. One branch grew from another branch which is kind if thin and it is too much weight on it
I will use lucky bamboo for aquarium decoration. My question is can the cutting section covered with wax be submerged? Thank you
I trimmed a shoot off mother stalk. Rooted it in water. Then planted in soil. Its green but doesn't look like it's growing. It's been 6 months
No Follow up to questions ? How long to leave the canes without leaves before they get leaves ? I want to transfer it back to soil. Both pieces have roots , the top and bottom of one cane. The top obviously has the leaves.
Thanks for the great video. I appreciate you explained how to care for both the cuttings and the original stems as most videos focus just on the cutting only. I also love that you raise fresh water fish. I use spider plants suspended in my plecko tank water to help control nitrates. They grow great! I also use tank water for my vegetable garden and all my houseplants and have done this for years. I will try a lucky bamboo propagation on a plant I found left behind by a student, and consider using lucky bamboo with my fish tanks. Thanks for the great video!
Really interesting. Thanks!
Just watched another video on how to plant and care, it was easy as ABC, now this pleasant propagation tutorial. What great people this is the best video out there for this. THANK YOU

Thank you. Excellent. How do you care for the shoots that you cut off of the stem. Once they root, what do you do with them. I have lots of them. Do they stay in water or plant in soil. Help!
