I tried to fix my Big Mini a4, Flexible works fine but the display broke... Happened like you aid at 7:00. It was very brittle and just fell apart, what can I do now? Is the display completely gone, can I replace this "foam-like" part?

Life saver, man - thank you for such a detailed video! The only thing I tweaked was not putting the speakers fully in place until after the battery was seated - making sure the right-side speaker wire is properly routed first. This made it easier to prevent the adhesive strips from sticking too soon and which could make orienting it a bit difficult. Cheers!

Great tutorial. Just know the reset he suggests at the end will remove all your personal settings: everything from the computer background to all open tabs on all your browsers.

I did this but I just used a bunch of ipa with one of those ifixit cards rather than adhesive remover. As I didn't need to worry so much with ipa and electronics.

Excellent Video!!! I followed every step with you and successfully replaced my battery. Removing the glue was by far the hardest part; I gently used an exacto blade because the pry bar wouldn't work for me. Not sure if that was allowed, but it made it possible for me to complete that step. Thank you for such a great tutorial!!

I really wish manufacturers would not design the flex cable going throught the film door and also make it control important features of the camera. Really stupid design! Many camera does this in the 90s.

Dude I just replaced my battery, thanks to your video/tutorial, although I wasn’t as delicate as you nor I attached the speakers back before putting the new batteries in, it was easier this way, A little force while removing the batteries made it somehow faster to remove them, and attaching the speakers at the end made it easy to place the batteries.. anyway thanks a lot for your video 🤞🏼

All I can say is thank you! My MacBook was ready to explode, Apple didn't carry the battery any more and I wasn't sure what to do. After watching your video several times I was convinced with your guidance, I could do this. Did it today and it went smooth as silk. No more puffy battery case. No more overheated laptop. You are an excellent instructor and your step by step instructions with video snippets were perfect for me. I'm an older adult and not very computer savvy but very technically inclined. The one mistake I made was to push the small black track pad connector tab up instead of clamping it down with my finger. I panicked because my track pad and keyboard weren't working when I booted up. I ran through your steps again and noticed my mistake. Your instructions were perfect, just posting just as a warning to everyone else. Appreciate it!

I'm just a n average Joe with no computer repair knowledge, opening the cover of a computer is usually "scary" but following you tutorial to the dot and was able to successfully replace the dead battery which had expanded drastically. The expanded battery would always wobble when on a flat surface. Cheers! All fixed. Thank you very much!
