I always struggle with Cap, I feel like he's a little lacking compared to some other characters. He is my favorite avenger though so i keep trying to get better with him. I just feel like hes a little squishy compared to the other Tanks that can heal themselves or give themselves armor. I also don't seem to get paired with healers that are more interested in trying to be DPS, so in competitive I typically play healer myself

That would be cool if, sometimes, you keep the perspective of the opponent who killed you, and take the opportunity to teach something about a mistake you did with the character. Like, oh he killed me cause i did this or i didn’t do that, you know. Not always, but if it can serve the purpose of teaching something

Whenever I pick Magneto I always lose despite how well I think I'm playing. I always try to focus on the objective and always do lots of damage. I don't know if I'm just awful or what the problem is.

How are his projectiled both slow moving, only 15 meters, and kind of weak. His shield is on cool down, his wall is on a resource meter Hes slow moving, almost non existent CC And he doesnt feel like a complete character without scarlet witch. :( that move should be his right click, but weaker, with left always cc bumping people... Teamup should just make it to where it is now. Idk hes my favorite and im maining him no matter what, but he doesnt feel good.

Best team up i love is cap Thor Hela Loki then you can have like a Luna with iron fist or for more ranged quill and Adam. All team ups active can even drop Loki if you want and get Jeff all team ups still active. I like you didn't leave Jeff when you started to run away in video you were then corrected for his survival to.

Not being able to snatch punishers ult bullets really sucks tbh

Cap needs a slight damage boost and his cooldowns are unnecessarily long. Also his shield should literally have no cooldown imo.

This guide helped me a lot! I just won like 10 games (one was 27 kills) in a row and finally stepped out of the bronze limbo. Cap has been so fun to play, and when he does his thing he feels so impactful to the team. Definitely maining him

comms in hero shooters is so annoying to listen to "punisher punisher punisher, strange one, cloak cloak cloak cloak."

In addition to frontline disruption, his speed also allows him to jump backward as a defence against divers. I found him effective against ironfist, BP, spiderman in a protective role as well as an offensive role. Essentially I want to 2v1 as defence or 1v2 as offence

Ive got a lot of complain from the healer as cap cause theyre not able to heal due to the mobility

I still have so many characters to try. I started with Spider-Man (cuz he’s my favorite) but I struggled with him. Then I started support classes and I love cloak & Jeff. In DPS, I love psylocke. I enjoy them so much I find it hard to try new characters lol

Captain was the 2nd tank I picked up behind Peni and now I have the most hours on him and Venom. They're just too good, bro.

Great guide but he left out two things: 1.) The sprint setting change for Captain America from “hold” to “toggle” sprint is a must imo. That way you’re always sprinting when moving 2.) The combo of throwing your shield during your fearless leap at your target and while still in the air slamming them right after for added damage

Kinda hoping they don't buff him now that I'm learning his advanced techniques. If he stays more of niche character that works for me.

i found that we can hold shield during running. i combined this with F dash or jump strike to push into site aggressively.

Cap just clicks with me. Was doing great as him before I even figured out how his passive melee works. Reading that felt like he got a buff when he was already great before!

I wish the game would not be bugged with the constant camera drifting on ps5 so I could actually play the game great

People who are complaining about him being weak, just animation cancel, he can 100-0 if you can hit your moves

Good video but I think you could have emphasized other tank comps with Captain America more. You’re very lucky to get the Thor team up with a duo, but in most games you aren’t gonna see that since Thor is situational. Let’s say Cap was a C tier hero, Cap with Thor team up would be a B… without that team up your TTK increases significantly on even back line.

He needs an unlimited shield throw. I just want to throw his shield at people lol

I think he'd be perfect if the dash had a stun effect like 0.5-1 second stun would be balanced wouldn't it?

If hulk can inflict damage on dr strange and his magical shield then why not the same on captain America 😂, game is still fun as hell.
