You don't get wood from stumps, but the trees will only grow back if you remove them. If you don't remove them you will end up running out of wood. Also if you complete some of their wishes you can get more colonist. They have expectations of having wishes fulfilled. Vanessa is ok, but the other 2 need more wishes fulfilled if you want more colonists.

Although this is a late reply, just a tip for games like this. If you can edit the Random Seed, you should use your Channel name because usually the map will be the same for everyone. This means viewers can follow along using the same maps you are playing. Plus if their is an update, you can start at a spot where you are familiar with

Glad you liked the mods :) Though the appearance is weird. The tasks aren't supposed to show in the middle like that haha. You might want to unsub/resub to the mod to make sure you have the latest version. Edit: Actually, nevermind. Looks like the bug is in the current version. I'll fix it soon.

There are "Soil for Pine Trees" in the farming section on the build menu to plant trees in.

I think you have taken the "Build" task off too many of their jobs. I think you should only take it off their main job.

When one of the traits is killer the go after Tiki Goblins always comes up. I have had it in my past games (of which are many lol) it’s a little annoying as you generally end up denying them their wish. Loving the new start!

Woot! For the first time ever, someone featured one of my mods in a video... and it doesn't work :( I reuploaded both of them, just in case. I'm not sure if steam automatically downloads the newest version each time the game is started or not so the best way to ensure you have the latest version is to unsubscribe from both and then resubscribe. AbsoluteProfessionPriorities should be at version 2.0.5 and BuildAsPressionTask at version 1.1.1. Please let me know if any of you is still having issues. Thank you!

Too late now but maybe you should have gone the route of building houses and then connecting them via pillars and walkways rather than splitting a big house into separate houses. Might have done what you wanted easier. Maybe. Left a comment on the last video about the build task mod. Check it out!

I asked in the Founder's Fortune Discord about adding the build option as a check box in the professions tab. Witchy wrote a mod to add it to each profession as a task. So if the are farming, you can uncheck the box but while they are tasked as a scholar during the winter for example, they will go and construct. It's called "Build as Profession Task". Just wanted to pass it along.

On my experience, 3 Stars is the main job/priority. I had a Medic/Craftsman/Forester and she always made Medicine first, did any crafting, and only then she would help take care of trees. I also hope that they implement Fishing, and maybe a small Fishing Boat as a Research Upgrade.
