I am from New Zealand. The video showed some rear wheel spin on the corrugated sufaces - I wonder how much rear axle articulation there is as this would prevent rear wheel spin in off road situations. The video also showed the Shark driving through a puddle at speed, but no video of the Shark driving through 1meter deep water (example a river) . My conclussion is that this model is a "soft off road" vehcile at best - another "pavement princess!"

Here's a summary of Chinese buyer reviews: good range, stiff suspension, not enough storage, a self parking incident reported scraping a bumper, seats uncomfortable front and back, seat ventilation only on the backrest and not the seat cushion, sound insulation insufficient especially on highway tire noise. Buyers are also unhappy about too frequent facelifts (2 this year and another one coming before the end of the year)

I like the minimalist proportions and if Mercedes were so pleased with their design language then they wouldn't keep changing the looks of their cars. BMW is aiming at longevity and I think that this design hits the right note. Too many curves and angles will date a car. I will be looking to buy the 330e variant. 🤓
