Jetzt benutze ich TC schon seit Jahren, wusste aber nicht das es sowas auch kann 🙈 Tolles Videos und danke für die Info!
I use mine to store all my pain medications. It really helps me keep organized.
@@Dennyrocks2333 what a great idea!
Is there a way to convert a tinkercad shape into an object that you can use the outline functions? I find it kind a pain that you can do it with a complex logo, but if I want to do it on a tinkercad box, it’s not available in the drop down. Great tutorial! Thankyou
@mudbrats I would select the shape, export it as an SVG, and re-import it. If that doesn't give you the options in the dropdown, you might be out of luck. A tinkercad box as an outline would essentially be a 3d cube that is hollow. The outline feature might be exclusive to a flat object.
@ yep that’s what I do but it would be great to have a 1 touch option to convert it - can’t be too crazy
why not ad the lip the image rathe than the box print face down and you wont need supports
I’m printing one now, but now I’m wondering if I should’ve adjusted my sizes to account for tolerance? Have you run into any issues? This tutorial is fantastic by the way. The most to the point and easiest to follow I’ve found
@kendraa_______9981 this one and others have been a snug fit, so I wouldn't scale it. You can always lightly sand any areas that stick, but you can't add material after it's printed! I'm working on another video on desk nameplates in tinkercad. Be sure to subscribe so you'll know when it hits.
@ it turned out perfectly. My first ever light box was a success thanks to this video. Thanks so much!!
Curious why you have to export as an svg and then import again? Does this unlock settings you can’t do if you were to just duplicate the original upload you had?
@kendraa_______9981 there's something weird with tinkercad where the silhouette option doesn't appear in the drop down until it is exported/imported.
@ great to know! I wondered why sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t !
thanks for the video. may I ask what font are you using? it looks nice
@@edmundtee9084 it was just an svg of a logo that was already developed, so I'm not sure what the font is.
@@robmasonjr67 no worries. thank you for taking time to reply! cheers!

Very nice. Once I actually find a mini tool box to buy, I will use it to store my paint pens. They always seem to roll off my bench and onto the floor.
Harbor freight has the one shown for 10-15 bucks this season.
Got a cad file?
@nkimokc1 no, it's all gridfinity.
@robmasonjr67 unfamiliar with gridfinity, awesome layout I 3dprint
I made mine into a Diddy box ...lubes, duct tape, extra batteries, mouthwash.
@@merikatools568 omg lol
I'm dead 💀
Box comes with all those divider bins?
@@rogerdenney3663 no. I 3d printed them. Go to olebrooketc.etsy.com for more info.
Nope. Looks like the OP designed/printed them. There are a few up on Etsy.
@rogerdenney3663 no, I 3d printed them.
@rogerdenney3663 no I 3d printed them.
This is straight up Dragnet… *Just the facts* Great example of what can be done with something many claim is too small to be useful.
Thanks! I had a good time figuring out which trays to use to optimize the space - it is small!
Do I spy gridfinity 👀
Yep it's perfect for optimizing the space
Best video I've seen so far using the mini toolbox. Great job!

Excellent
That would have been cool to have when I flew RC helicopters.
I raced RC cars many years ago, and this would have been great to have, too.
add a handle and a latch, and you have a tackle box.
