    I appreciate the examples of boldness in standing up for The Truth, as well as delineating that "you believe what you want, I will believe what I want" is not standing up for the Lord, is not honouring God and the Word. Thank you for this podcast. God bless you.

    Im not sure if I agree with yall on the 4th video. Jesus came in human form to show us that we can live like him, however I flesh will only lead us to sin. Thats why we have to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. And it doesnt say that he will upgrade our body, it says we will get a new body. So Im not sure if I understand what y'all are saying about it. I disagree with yall on the rapture. Bc people need to be ready. Bc we need to tell people if they dont get right with Christ they will burn for eternity. Scriptures say that we will go through tribulation. The bible tells us to live our life like Jesus is coming back soon. I feel like if you feel Jesus is coming back in our lifetime then we will want to get as many people to Jesus as much as possible. The bible doesnt say rapture. But it does say Jesus will come back to get his children after the great tribulation. Which I believe is the same as the rapture and 2nd coming. Read Mathew 24: 30-40. I use to believe that Jesus was coming back before the tribulation. But after learning the bible more I learned hes not coming back til after. With that being said, I dont live my life in fear. I trust Jesus and I follow Him.

  • @laceystrattonwhitehead1199

    On the 2nd video, Im not sure if I agree with that TikTok video bout the preaching. Bc Jesus wasnt a preacher. He was a teacher. We should try and scare people into heaven. But some were called to preach like Billy Graham and other were called to teach like Duane Sheriff and Andrew Wommack. Sorry Bro. Jacob. I have not heard any of your messages yet, but I plan on listening today. The way that gay "satanic" preacher quotes the bible is exactly how satan quotes the bible. Its taking it 1000% out of context. I mean how can someone take one verse and turn into a belief that is so far out there in left field its insane. I fear for the people listening to him and I fear for the gay preacher bc he will be judge horrifically for this.

    Why do Churches not teach the true names Yahuah and Yashuah? Please don't say God and Jesus is just a translation. Not all Biblical names where changed in translation so why can't Churches use these true names?

    I love listening to these men. And how honest they are. And I agree Bro. Andrew. We should not be acting cowardly when it comes to the gospel. We must be bold. We should not respect their beliefs. But we should love them. And with the holy spirit guiding us, tell them the truth. Bc like what the scripture says in John & you and Pastor Duane always say, its the truth that will set them free. And if they dont know the truth they wont be set free.

But I do remember when I woke up I jumped out of bed and ran to my grandmaw and told her everything. It brought tears to her eyes. Something I've been thinking about somewhat on this topic of generational relations that I'd LOVE to hear you guys invite Duane on for, is how we are supposed to be believers sharing our faith and stories while honoring our parents. I think Jacob and Duane go to great lengths to do their best at sharing struggles without going too far. Duane from poverty, religion, and ignorance as well as Jacob and the "Duanites" who wouldnt give him the time of day compared to his dad and the passing of the baton..etc. I feel like part of the assignment or torch I've been asked to carry is to share my testimony in groups of people who are wrapped up in deconstruction and church hurt and new agers. Part of that story is to go through my parental downfalls in the "religion vs. Jesus" topic. I haven't shared much in that respect because I want to take seriously what God takes seriously and it feels like sometimes the stuck feeling of moving forward with a calling is also confused with this and not wanting to open my mouth about some of those generational pitfalls that we all possess. If time might ever offer a conversation like that for both of you, please consider that topic for a future episode!

    Yes! I ENJOYED IT! I got unstuck by experiencing the love of God. In my young.. twenties I was so tired and didn’t know how I was going to make it the rest of my life. I was coming out of a hard time, things were starting to work out but even still I was just so tired and sad. I had been going to church for years but still didn’t personally “know” God. Any time I had something I really wanted to be prayed for I would always go to someone who I admired and would have them pray for it. I often thought of the verse when God would separate the sheep from the goats and say depart from me I never knew you and I just knew that was me and I had a healthy fear of it. But in this place of being weary even as things were supposed to be getting better and I should have been happy I was getting more and more depressed. As much as I loved my children they could not give me what I needed. The drive for life was slipping away. Remember thinking and asking God “Is this all there is? This.” Until one day I was in my car by self when the song “Worn” came on and I bawled and sang that song in such brokenness. Approx. 3 days later in the early morning I was up watching some sermon and he was speaking of something I already knew but when as he explained it I had a revelation of Gods love for ME and the love of God hit me so hard and heavy that as time went on I felt like I could exploit at times. I literally had desires to literally shout from the rooftops because I literally felt like I needed/I had to, I was going to explode. I was experiencing so much at this time and there is a lot here. Especially things as I look back. I did not understand what had happened. I saw things in the church that made me sad and I didn’t know how to handle. People were loving me and excited for me but no one was really explain anything to me, it brought beauty and amazement and adoration for the Lord but in a sense I was walking it out and learning from it on my own. I see so much clearer as time has gone on. I started to struggle with spiritual pride because I didn’t know how to relate to the things I saw that troubled me. I didn’t realize and someone that a lot of what she said was not right said some things that thru me off (she seemed to love the Lord but was often stuck in the past at what God done back in a revival instead of having real revelation in her life now.., she said some good stuff too but at that time it several things she said caused different negative effects). Overall it was an amazing Church and I received a firm foundation in many vital things. Then the Spirit taught me as I went on, slowly, patiently, kindly, for years I thought I was one more mistake away from losing it all. God provide His faithfulness in countless ways, big things, little things, very intimate ways just for me. Blew me away. Overwhelmed me with his goodness. His word. Life. I remember sleeping the first night. I went to bed holding my Bible so tightly to my chest, armed wrapped in it’s beautiful case. I slept like that for awhile and I hit that bed and passed out like I never had before. The first scripture God spoke directly to me was in Jonn I believe when he says “now you do know me and have seen me”. Then he spoke “I am the vine and you are the branches and if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you can ask me for anything and it will be done for you”. And then “don’t look back” from the Lots wife. So I fear from that because I thought I was going to lose if I looked back or die lol. But that was misguided. But important. Those scriptures all came that first day. Jumped out spoken directly to me. And I could sense a direct line between myself and the father. Boy I thought I was special. I thought I was going to be like Enoch and God was going to take me LOL. But I DID NOT yet know how to walk it out and maintain that place while living those around me and having to deal with their issues. My self talk used to be AWFUL, I was by far the most awkward communicator I had ever met and I would BASH myself real good, tell my self never again, don’t ever talk again you idiot”. Steadily. Took a long time but that is a thing of the long ago past. Gtg, it’s been God. So thankful your guys. You don’t even know.

    • @yoraellennon
      @yoraellennon 5 месяцев назад

      The weight of knowing how much the world needed to know his love used to be so hard on me. I felt overwhelmed by it. Then I got lost in rebellion on and off (took me forever to call it rebellion because I didn’t want/mean to leave God I just wanted to do what I wanted to do for a min but then like a dumb sheep had wondered off and had no idea how to get back and then would get side tracked while lost on something toxic until finally when I would come to a real real place of missing God and crying out to him and then he would save me. I spent a lot of time learning this lesson. I would have called it wasted time but I see now how God is using even the things I learned in that time 🙌🏼 oh how awesome and good he is. Then as time went on I feel like I started to abuse knowing it and turning back and God, as painful as it probably was for him to watch had to leave me in it for longer even as I cried out and I had to experience SIGNIFICANT amounts of betrayal from almost everyone (if not everyone) and great loss in my life for a period so that I would remember it. And it was bad and extremely painful.. but I am thankful for it now. The Lord disciplines those he loves because he loves them and is a good father. Everything I was choosing was death and heading to distruction for myself and my family. One of the times just before I wondered off the last clear thing the Lord spoke to me was “YOU ARE MINE”! It was very possessive and I had never experienced him speak like that. That was the last thing I heard from him for a long time 😔 Anyways back to what I was saying I’m finally to a place we’re I don’t feel the pressure of the world and understand that I’m called to my little world. And I’m grateful for all the things I’ve learned at VL. Through the messages. And I finally see my brothers and sisters in Christ as brothers and sisters. I knew it before but didn’t have a revelation of it. I’m so thankful for it.

      Omgoodness my youngest child gets embarrassed easily. So that’s shame!? How can I help her with that? She’s five but pretty emotionally intelligent for her age. I think that may be from not having any siblings her age to play with at home. Around older people more than some kids. We play with her but not as much I wish we did/could. Where can I start?

      Maybe do what y’all said, getting on her level, connecting, finding out what she’s feeling and then letting her know in whatever she’s feeling that we love her in that and that she is safe. Maybe not quite that simple but. Any advice?
