I had been meaning to cover this song for the longest time, but honestly that finger tapping part had intimidated me out of trying for the longest time. So it was the perfect fit for this years Halloween cover, and I finally knuckled down with a metronome, and got to tapping. This song was the first time I started noticing video games as a real art form. This has always been burned in to my mind ever since I first heard it in 1996.

@@tonymusha keep the faith! Three of my favourite franchises had remasters/ports etc this year after being dead for ages! (Legacy of Kain, Suikoden, Metal Gear)

@@MrConeman My friends and I used to do tricks and stuff in the game. Not speed running. We'd take time doing weird shit that somehow came in extra clutch or was just funny, like flying backwards.

@@MrConeman Current day, I hardly ever preorder anything. As soon as I saw the remasters, insta buy. A day / night cycle, new areas, graphics look great. I have loved the intricate story LoK has told. I wish BO1 would be "remastered" as well and released on Steam. I see it's 60% off of GOG; I hate getting multiple games from multiple storefronts, but for <$3, I am on the fence. I am once again watching the lore. I bought BO1 on PC when I was a kid; I had to cheat to beat the game lol... so brutal... but I love the brutality of the story. Ariel... Nupraptor, Mortanius, Mobius, King William the Just becoming Nemesis... etc. Are you tracking "Soul Reaver: The Dead Shall Rise"? I guess it's a prequel to SR1; a graphic novel that can be supported on Kickstarter. I am definitely going to support that as well. Anything to resurrect this amazing series...
