    So you don't have to connect the line that goes to the top of the carb?

    • @jssj2851
      @jssj2851 7 месяцев назад

      Correct, but I would plug it, it's also a vacuum so it will throw your air to fuel off a little.

    I have an 02’ Suzuki Eiger and the diaphragm failed, dumping fuel into the engine and air box. . I had to purchase original diaphragm pet cock assembly. Mine would not run correctly with the gravity fed Yamaha petcock. Even after adjusting the main jet, plugging the vacuum line in carb,it idled rough and was hard to start with gravity fed. It starts with little or no choke and runs well now.

    Your knowledge and expertise were excellent! However, your camera angles were horrible!!! You described how you were making an adjustment, but we couldn't see the adjustment because your hand was in the way, or the adjustment was out of camera view. I was very disappointed because I think your knowledge base is excellent, but your delivery left much to be desired. You might want to consider having someone assist you or placing your phone on a tripod above the demonstration. This is not a negative comment, but constructive criticism. I promise, if you make the adjustment, your subscribers will be very grateful!

    It"s the most awesome invention designed to replace the mighty lever system so they say. The most arrogant I say. Nice try but it doesn't work for real people like us. Maybe for a pettite skinny anorexic but not bolemic. For them triple flush is needed but for guys like me I had to wait till it gets filled up the second time around (visual proof is available). So thanks for this I've been planning for this for years. Totally agree

My hubby is needing to know if you have a video on how to take off the carb on a Suzuki Eiger 400. 2007 is our year on our Eiger. Hey thanks again And please send me a note on what video to watch. Or send him a email message at Kathyhenry122@gmail.com Please have great day Thanks

      No your carb would determine how rich or lean it would run, but you do need to adjust the fuel Screw on your carb

    Thanks so much, Joe. Not sure if I want to do all that work. Knowing me, I'd drop that little white pin and never find it. That's after I would bend the needle. Haha. But glad to see that their is a cure. Glacier Bay was cheap, but I didn't realize until I installed 2 of them, that they didn't really flush anything. May just try replacing the entire flush mechanism/float with one that allows more water to be in the tank. Bye the way, you're not supposed to flush Clorox wiped down the toilet. Especially if you got a septic system, man! Thanks again. =)

    Just did this mod on mine after some research and viewing RUclips videos. Thank you for sharing this. The before and after are unreal. Prior to this mod, my Eiger worked (or so I thought) right up until the day it was hard to start and wouldn't idle. After doing this, I can see a MAJOR difference! Ever since I bought the Eiger you couldn't just give it full throttle from a stand still without it hesitating and trying to flood but now I can go from a dead start to full throttle with no problem. If anyone owns an Eiger, don't replace the Sukuki petcock...do this.

    Seem's like if I remember that Yamaha petcock was used on the Yamaha Raptor, I need to change out my stock petcock on my 05 Eiger, so far it's working right, but you never know when it may go south and flood my crank case with gas. Suzuki should have their butt kicked for that poor design on the Eiger. Is there anyway you can post the Yamaha petcock part number here in the comments, it's hard for me to read off the video ?

    Great video but you didn't have to do all those steps on the fill valve, that seems to be a fluidmaster valve and it has a plastic lock ring, just turn the water off, pull the ring up and that will allow you tu pull up the valve to the desired height and once you have it just push the lock ring down and your done.

  • @jacobschutz3412
    @jacobschutz3412 6 лет назад

    Worked like a charm. Just go to lowes and get 6" 1-1/4 extension plumbing. Fits right over overflow and right height to make toliet work correct. Loses any water savings and basically dual flush is pointless but at least toliet works

    Bought this same damn toilet a few months ago. Like most guys I’m able to instal a toilet and most things with out instructions. I’ve been pulling my hair out and minute away from duct taping this toilet to the rail road tracks near my house while video taping the death and destruction of this horrible crap disposal devise. Every time someone leaves that bathroom, it looks like someone flushed and hand full of black and brown uncapped sharpies down the hole. Or tried to at least. After weeks of research only finding the most obvious of fixes for this, I ran across your video. Awesome. Submit this to glacier bays engineer. Then give him a nice overhand right to the jaw. Good info, good vid! Thanks!

    He's got the right idea - more water faster. The Fluidmaster overflow tube's outside diameter is exactly as the same as the J bend on a cheap plastic J bend. But, there is a built-in coupling which mates with the sink tailpiece. Just cut off the couping of the J bend AND about 1 inch of additional pipe. Force the coupling section over the overflow - use multipurpose glue if desired or necessary. Remove the Fluidmaster water supply valve and adjust its height to the max without interfering with the tank top. These two actions will result in about 3 inches of extra water. We did a REAL test flush and everthing went away. I'd upload a photo but that requires new learning and I'm an old plumber.

    I just got my bike back from the shop & it has started not idling the man claims he rebuilt the carb but it don't look like it my damn wiring harness was resting on my exhaust and both front cvs was busted it was stuck in 4x4 and my spark plug has not been changed in 3 years I probably need to change it could be my idling problem
