Boerboels of Big Bear. Odie and Raya play.
turn on the camera a little late for this. but they were wrestling really hard she was jumping on his back and he was jumping up in the air and kicking her down. good to see him with that much energy with everything that's going on with his life. just two or three weeks ago I didn't think he was going to survive the day. and I think it was actually injury from Play time now. but he's doing pretty good you can see his stance in the way he walks he's very careful and has some orthopedic problems but he's doing pretty darn good. Raya is getting better playing with him even though she drew blood on me last night.

Rhea is totally OCD about her toys. and she will spend hours on her indestructibles. I've actually seen her put other toys back in the box.

The old big bad cuz dog toy were the best. it's so hard for them to destroy. they can chew off the feet and they can take out the squeak. but the ball stays intact. The new ones ones won't even last a day

This is Raya's second time out this morning. She has gone out 5 times and is finally tired and wet laying in the sun in our bay window. She found a new game with a ball in the snow.

Raya finally got her tplo plate removed from her knee. She is doing great, just finished her antibiotics had her stitches removed and the surgery area looks good. Odie seems to tolerate her well.

Raya had her tplo knee plate removed today because it became infected. and she had a canine version of MRSA what they call hrsa. it went well she's in a little bit of pain she has antibiotics and pain medication which I'll give her shortly. but she likes it toy and it's keeping her happy hopefully she doesn't cry all night cuz she's already crying now. the doctor said that her knee is structura...

I noticed she was playing with the hose that was on just a little. So I turned it up some and grabbed my phone. She finally got to a good weight, but now I have to cut her back.

little Rhea has some OCD. she chews on this toy constantly. it's not so bad just annoying. at least she's not showing anything else up

this is not the silent movie age any longer. we make color movies and Sound videos for many many decades. If you're too lazy to make a video with your voice and actual menu options or the recipe for your video or your food you go on my do not recommend list.

a couple of days ago I got her this new waggle toy. they make the weirdest noises. And it says for aggressive chewers and large dogs. within 5 minutes of having it she tore the outer cover just a little bit. And realigned all the speakers inside the cover and she likes the toy. What's the other 1%? I replaced mine this weekend and stihl (get it) not starting. Replaced the plug as well. Tonight I'll check the spark arrestor. This is the second time I've replaced the carb. Worked the first time.
Yeah spark arrestor could cause it. Or the actual exhaust port. The worst case scenario is you've got a bad piston in a cracked ring. Typically is just like any other engine it's fuel spark and oxygen. So if it's not getting enough oxygen it may not start or if it can't expel gases it may not start
Yeah, that's the solution sometimes. But sometimes you live on an island and end up waiting a month. If you got the on the weekend, tear it apart. If you fail, then throw it out and order one. If you succeed you save money and you get back to work way faster... I'm saying this respectfully unlike my grandpa, who would probably be pretty rude about your opinion, lol.
Replacing the carburetor every year for the last 5 years, maybe you should just buy a new unit.
No I live in the mountains and we have a short growing season period so you end up storing your line trimmer for almost half a year. And it doesn't matter if you dump the old gas is still going to come up the carburetor. So it's easier to replace a carburetor for 15.00 that is to replace the almost $400 line trimmer. Get a grip buddy
The dogs didn’t chase the bear. What the hell?
Well I'm not going to let them go out of their fenced-in yard to chase a bear. They barked at the bear when it came to the fence and was trying to climb over the fence and that scared it away so yes they chased it away. Add several months ago the small dog attacked that same bear when it was in the yard and injured it and sent it running.
Poor little guy, look up heal th ben ef its of bor ax. An eighth teaspoon per liter of water per day should give him a whole lot of relief. It's not a chem ical made in a lab it's a mine ral that is mined. I would barely be able to walk if it weren't for that, my knees aren't very good, a lot better now.😎👍

Boerboels in the states ? Wtf ? Its a south african breed they get pretty big and can get pretty nasty cause they get really protective and loyal just ask any saffa that ever jumped over a 4 foot wall to visit a chick without her parents knowing.

Those are some gorgeous boerboels, they look like their frame supports their weight. I love the boerboel and like many other people, I like them for their size, but the biggest problem with the breed is that people are breeding purely for size and not for the combination of size/health. I'm worried the boerboel is going to become like the modern English Mastiff due to it becoming more and more popular and people looking for the largest dog. I enjoy this build much more than the stocky, short legged, blocky headed build that so many people are going for. In my opinion, the boerboel should be athletic for it's size, it should have definition in it's muscle and should have the broad sloped shoulders. I also don't like the short faced build, I enjoy the longer nose build like your brindle and your red ones. My favourite coat is the red colouring but in terms of build, the brindle is near perfect! Thanks for the great video!
I've had the Boerboel for 12 years studied them for 15 years. This is as close to what the founders of the breed wanted that I could get and reproduce. I only have the brindle left his son and mate passed away the last 2 years ago. I adopted another female and she is doing well. The Brindle comes from original South African stock Mizpah and Linjo blood. He was born in South Africa "Authentic Mizpah Odinson-Thor" It does not get any closer to true form than that.

I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT THE 2 OR MORE DOG ARE ABLE TO CONFRONT A BEAR, AND MAKE GO AWAY BUT COM ON IT'S A BEAR , ONE DOG WILL STAND NO CHANCE AGAINST HIM.I SAW 2 KANGALS ATTACKING A BEAR AND EVEN THEY HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN SCARING THE BEAR THEY WORE INJURED VERY BAD
Actually that bear came into my yard and my small young female Boerboel @125LB attacked the bear and chased it out of our yard. Most bears are smart and know any injury can prevent them from hunting and could mean a slow death.
Black Bears are pretty timid. A full size Livestock Guardian Dog can successfully repel a black bear the majority of the time, because they don't want the smoke. Granted if the bear is actually starving, it will eat the dog. But better the dog than you or your children.

@kilouno1963 I wouldn't want my dog to be hurt either, hon. But that is the whole purpose of an LGD, to put itself in harm's way between it's pack (be that it's humans or its flock) and predators. You buy the dog to be an extra layer of security. Ideally, it scares the predators away, which happens the majority of the time. But when push comes to shove the dog will do its duty and we either have a wounded friend to care for or a lost loved one to mourn. It's just the way it is. Obviously scale your LGD pack to your predators pressure. If it's just coyotes and the occasional nosy blackbear, then one is all you need unless you have a ton of animals to protect. If you produce enough surplus food then by all means have an extra LGD, but if someone doesn't then you can't impose that on them when their conditions don't require it. Lastly... your good Boi isn't an lgd breed AFAIK. Just a strong companion breed with guard dog attributes. Please correct me if I am mistaken

The big fawn male one is Crusher (205lb) the brindle is Odie or Odinson-Thor (170lb) and a female fawn is Jade (135lb). Unfortunately Crusher have and Jade have passed away this last two years. I still have Odie

actually many of the ones I see doing it are English speaking people. The ones that don't speak English should enable subs and speak anyways.

Even the guys that record a car show and throw background music, I don't care for that either. It's like watching a slide show with music in the background. Boring.

Love the video as well as the fact watching an older Boerboel still healthy . My Jackson will turn 8 in September , had a mass cell tumor removed at 6 then again had 2 removed last week .We hope he lives a full dog life . Im getting into my mid fifties so he will be my last one . Best dog breed ive ever had .
I was fooling with my FS55R for 3 days!!!! Arm about to fall off from trying to crank this thing. Went on Amazon bout one of the “Hutlz” ? Carbs. Paid bout $13. Put it on with no adjustments. Started right up. It was packed with extra supplies also. Never again with the carb cleaner spray. I even got a cheapo carb on my riding lawnmower.
It's just the easiest and fastest way to take care of it. I bloodied my hand trying to start mine. Then just said EFF it. Replace carb and back to work.
I've put a new carburetor on mine, and it still won't start up. It has a spark going to the plug. Of course, the unit is turned on, but still nothing.
