Not sure if it was an accident or intentional but you *completely* ignored the *huge* orange dial on the Scotts spreader. The setting of this dial controls how far the latch opens the spreader controller. It’s the equivalent of the slide lever on the back underside of the Echo.

I have an RB60 IMO it’s the best of the budget spreaders. When I have spread lime I have had occasional particles get caught between the 2 plates causing the gate to stick open. When I get fed up with the RB60 I will buy a Lesco. The nice thing about the Lesco all parts are easily purchased from a Site One

I paid more that 2500 dollars a couple of years back based on your expertise on this grass. Im in the Houston area, this grass is bad it never did anything in the yard except die. Would love a refund from my time wasted and listening to your recommendations. To my knowledge this grass is not being sold anymore in the area.

My Pro Vista sucks the grass hardly grows but the weeds are out of control.

I would by the appropriate amount of sod rolls and cut the POA out twice the size of it's visible footprint carefully roll it up and put it in a wheel barrow and drop the new sod down which is fully grown and just needs watering in, then follow the instructions in this video. My lawn is bluegrass and local vendors sell the same.

The soil temperature often hits about 70 (mid-August 2024) which is the window for pre-emergent with aeration often during the same window to help loosen up the soil and reduce compaction. What is the best sequence for these fall northeast) lawn care steps?

So have the YM backpack sprayer and I’ve been using the white flood jet tip for all my N-EXT products. I read somewhere that certain products need to be sprayed with different tips depending if it needs watered in. What spray tips are for what products? I’ve been applying SeaK, MicroGreene, GreeneEffect, GreeneCharge, and Spoon Juice. Some products don’t seem to have any effect. Any info is appreciated!

I don't mind the bump, but the plates getting stuck are an issue. I guess I am sticking with my Scott DLX, but I am looking. I now hate the wheels, the less-than-even release of material, resulting in lines or dead spots due to excessive material falling off the wheels. I had high hopes for this one and still looking.

i do not recommend the Earthway; it's not well-made for the price you're paying. its dispenser adjustments is inaccurate and hard to adjust. don't fall for the "Made in USA" label because it's simply not a good product.
