I think you shouldn’t do cardio before your workout because you won’t have the same intensity and high energy levels and won’t have lots of muscle growth.
@MuscleBeats_. probably but my occupation doesn't really allow me not to do cardio before I am allowed to go to the gym but still enjoy the feeling of doing it our base routine is usually PT before we knock off and military pt in South Africa is basically just jogging for 30 minutes but i also hit the bike for another 10min to cool down from the jogging decreasing the intensity then take a 20 min break before hitting the weights with a pre workout it makes all the difference to me plus i eat a fuckton so there is now way i am not building anything

@meduros he's very right actually, the most stretched position is the most muscle building part of an exercise. Reference Mike Israetel, Jeff Nippard, etc who all provide very clear studies on this.
@@xanderhartwood7936the studies show like a 5% increase in hypertrophy Nothing to write home about 😂 I agree the stretch is important but it’s most important especially on pull muscles because it puts the body in such a state that you have to engage let’s say your back to move the weight from that position if you don’t fully stretch you aren’t going to get as much back engagement Hence the reason why loads of people have such a hard time feeling / building their back
