i have never seen a jensen uo here in the owen sound ontario canada area i love these cars and have done since i was around 10yrs old i saw it in toronto and have allways wanted one but just could never afford one if i ever won the lottery one or two would be in my garage a mark 3 and a ff just such a fantastic looking car even now they just do not look aged at all

Lovely car, the right colour, great condition but dwindling in buyer numbers now as a select few appreciate it for the money asked. When a cracking condition silver shadow is the same money I’d be getting the Rolls Royce so it’s a very particular market but all the same an incredible historic British classic hope it goes to the right person ❗️

Really interesting stuff, thanks for posting. I rented LPB in September 2014 when (presumably) these valve seat recession / low compression issues were already well established, but the car still performed well in the two days I had it, with no obvious misfiring. It pulled strongly and swiftly without any hesitation to 4,000+ rpm in each gear, and also wafted along at under 2,000rpm in top very smoothly. I assume that under actual running conditions, i.e. being fully warmed up, helped to compensate for / reduce compression loss via the damaged valve seats. The only issue I experienced was hot starting (e.g. refuelling after a run), which took up to 20 seconds of cranking. However, period road tests mention this, so I didn't think anything of it at the time. Also, when I rented it, I specifically asked what fuel to use and if an additive was needed. I was told unleaded was fine.
