@@lisaroper421 there’s journaling and a creative writing question at the end of each lesson. Because my daughter is doing another writing curriculum, I only have her to 6 journal questions and the creative writing questions optional. We use WordSmith apprentice for her writing curriculum.

@@jeniferjohnson374 the curriculum was really great and we were able to spend about 1.5 to 3 hours a day to finish up by the end of the week. His favorite was the building works and geography.

@@Heynatashaaa I use the happy planner and then I print out the pages from Timberdoodle. They have an online scheduler that schedules my days and weeks.

@@thewalkerfamofficial Do your kiddos have their own planners too? Or do you just print out these schedules and stick it in their folder? Thanks for answering all my questions. 😅

@@Heynatashaaa they do have their own planners. The video here is about their own planner. I make one for each kid and that’s how I keep track of their weeks and what we’re on. I sometimes write the page number in the boxes of what we’ve complete. I do reverse scheduling rather than plan for the actual page numbers, I write what I’ve actually done.

It's so helpful to have a plan, then the kiddo also knows what is expected and the week just runs so much smoother than if I hadn't planned for the kiddo :) Have a wonderful school year too!

This isn’t the newest kit, it’s from a couple years ago but the main core subjects are the same. I did customize all my kits so they’re never the same as what is listed. Their customization option is on their main website too.

@@meganrose22 hey!! Yes, it looks SO fun! The lessons can take anywhere from 15-45 minutes. Really depends on how much you want to add in, go down a rabbit trail, or cook together.

We use Story of the World and I also read the Who Was books aloud or have them as readers for the kiddos if it's their reading levels. We also are using beautiful feet books Early American History and Around the World Part 1. ATW is more geography but their books do have some world history in there. We also go over a historical figure everyday during morning time.

It's so fun and you're going to love it. Take it one day at a time and know to give yourself grace. I reassess every month or so and really take in our plan/flow. It helps to write your flow down, write your why down and reading it throughout the year is a nice mood booster and it's grounding.

Yes, I have some planning videos and I have one coming up soon on how I schedule Kindergarten. Timberdoodle has an online scheduler that we use to schedule their workplan and the family subjects I do during morning time. I have a morning time video coming soon too :)
