Great video guys. The 2 biggest things I tell folks who have never used shiners or circle hooks are : 1, when the float goes down, count to four before setting the hook. ( allows the bass to get the hook in its mouth.) 2 - Don't set the hook like you would if you're fishing a jig. Sweep it like using a drop shot with light line. Following those, my cousins and I caught over 70 fish in 2 days.

I like to rig the hook off center a lit bit on the first puncture, still come out rhe middle split tho. Gives a nice darting action
